- Matthew Casey: [at Capp's house] What if he doesn't answer the door?
- Kelly Severide: I got a spare Halligan in my trunk.
- Randall McHolland: [shows Capp eye chart he drew on a napkin] Can you read the top line?
- Capp: F-U-C...
- Randall McHolland: That's *not* what it says!
- Christopher Herrmann: Hey. How's Capp doing?
- Kelly Severide: Don't know, but might have to kill him.
- Matthew Casey: He skipped out against doctor's orders.
- Joe Cruz: Do you wanna know what solves all problems? Getting married. It's like all of those little things that you thought were such a big deal while you were dating, they just evaporate. Like ocean mist.
- Randall McHolland: Says the guy who has been married for a week.
- Kelly Severide: I want to stop by that scrapyard on the way back.
- Joe Cruz: Scrapyard? Why are we going back there? We already talked to that guy.
- Kelly Severide: We're not going there to talk.
- Paramedic Violet Lin: Maybe we should break up.
- Blake Gallo: Maybe we should get married!
- Paramedic Violet Lin: You are out of your mind.
- Kelly Severide: [waiting for Capp to come out] How long does it take to read the bottom of an eye chart?
- Randall McHolland: [after they lift a casket off Cody and it pops open] Well that's convenient.
- Matthew Casey: You could've told us it was empty.
- Cody: I do these runs all the time, they never tell me what's inside and I don't ask.
- Emily Foster: I need your advice. And I need you to give it to me straight.
- Stella Kidd: Do I ever hold back?
- Emily Foster: No, you don't. Which is why I wanted to tell you.
- Kelly Severide: [Capp is shining a small bell] Ah. What's this?
- Capp: Ding-a-ling-ding. It's 51's original bell. I'm gonna get it shining again.
- Kelly Severide: No. Not here.
- Capp: Squad table's everyone's table. Or, I mean, everyone on the squad's table. What?
- Matthew Casey: Do not bring that mess into the common room.
- [alarm blares]
- Emergency dispatch: Truck 81, Squad 3, Engine 51, Ambulance 61.
- Capp: I'll clean it when I get back.
- Emergency dispatch: Industrial accident. 350 West Fulton Street.
- Blake Gallo: What's up?
- Paramedic Violet Lin: You texted me five times in the last 24 hours.
- Blake Gallo: Yeah. You didn't text me back and I was wondering what was up.
- Paramedic Violet Lin: What's up is that we aren't in a serious relationship. Which means sometimes we might go a little while without texting or talking and there's no reason to freak out.
- Blake Gallo: I'm not freaked out.
- Paramedic Violet Lin: The last text asked if I was dead.
