Sex & Nudity

Mild
2 of 4 found this mild
There were several sexual references throughout the movie, including a song about chasing and bedding girls, and at one point Uncle Tadpole (Ernie Dingo) uses his fingers to demonstrate "birds and bees" while teasing Willie (Rocky McKenzie) about being a virgin. There was also a scene where Roxanne (Deborah Mailman) offers to show Willie a "condom trick" leading them to a tree with condoms attached to its branches, where Roxanne proceeds to undo Willie's shirt and begin to unbuckle his belt but they are interrupted.

Violence & Gore

Moderate
1 of 1 found this moderate
Brutal curb stomping scene that comes out of nowhere and makes you feel sick to your stomach, the main character ends up brain damaged after it happens, near the end of the movie.

Profanity

Mild
2 of 3 found this mild
Shit is uttered twice in a song.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Moderate

While travelling in the hippie van, a cigarette is passed around amongst the passengers, which is assumed to be marijuana because police then drive up to their van and Annie (Missy Higgins) quickly empties a bag of it out the window. Several scenes had alcohol and drunken behaviour, including several bar scenes, homeless men drinking alcohol, Roxanne (Deborah Mailman) acting drunk in some scenes, and underage drinking.
