Finally Carolyn Martens showed some emotions. Maybe she felt guilty about withholding omelette from her operatives unless they got results.

Konstantin felt he was constantly juggling with explosives and one might just drop. He dropped in a train station.

As for Dasha, she nearly got a hole in one but the wrong club was used.

The penultimate episode draws the third series together. It also brings Eve and Villanelle almost close to each other.

A successful episode which feels very much like a graphic novel.

As usual, I had to watch a 2nd time

I don't really mind rewatching. Things happen and words are spoken softly that are important to the story. For example (not really a spoiler if I say this right), I asked a friend who was floating in the river. She said it never happened. But the second time, I not only found out who, but I also know who did it and why. Totally makes sense now.. Same thing with the golf course incident. I love this show. Now the biggest problem is waiting for season 4.

The whole season has felt... different? but in a good way. Villanelle and Eve have had a huge character development, therefore, so has their relationship. It felt like season 2 was heading that way, until they destroyed their connection in the final episode, so i really hope that won't be the case this season. Comparing the previous episode (one of the worst imo) with this one, it feels like to different shows. The editing, the music, the tension. Thank god.

Laura Neal wrote the two best episodes of season 3 and she's also the showrunner for the 4th season, this feels like a dream. So excited!!!!!!

Season 1 vibes (AGAIN)

Ignoring the unnecessary storylines (geraldine, irina...), this episode proves that season 4 is going to be spectacular. Laura Neal's writing style is so unique and adequate for the show (she also wrote episode 3), and after last week's messy (but necessary plot-wise) episode, it feels like i'm watching killing eve again.

FINALLY MORE EVE

I was so disappointed after last week's episode. The editing was terrible, the scenes felt so rushed and messy, and especially, THE LACK OF EVE. She might not be as "comercial" as Villanelle, but come on, the show is named after her, for god's sake, Sandra Oh deserves so much better. This episode was SOOOOOOOO much better in every single aspect. The story and the characters have developed amazingly, it had everything that the show needed. Equal Villanelle-Eve screentime (even tho it should be even more, considering the amount of scenes geraldine and irina got), nail-biting tension, and the perfect set-up for the season 3 finale. I hope they don't disappoint again.

It just doesn't fit in

This episode was directed by series regular Damon Thomas who had, however, not yet directed an episode this season. It really shows, as it feels like an excerpt from a different show/season rather than the one it belongs to. I've normally enjoyed Thomas's directing but this time a lot of the scenes and dialogue felt disjointed - it felt like he didn't really understand what the characters had been through and (this may also be on the writing tbf) didn't give enough tools for the actors to make a convincing performance.

The final 10 minutes of this episode were very solid but even there there were a couple parts which broke my immersion. However, this is all setting up for an interesting finale and I have a lot of faith in the show delivering a good one at that - Damon Thomas has delivered great Eve-Villanelle scenes in the past, so if he's the one directing, i'm sure we'll be getting another one of those.

Considering the praise this episode is receiving I might have to rewatch this one, but on first watch the directing/writing just didn't sit right with me. The lack of music compared to earlier episodes was also offputting (although i'd actually prefer that in a vacuum), and the episode lacked a cohesive rhythm. I still love the characters and acting though, and there was nothing wrong with the story per-se.. so i'm still giving this a 7/10

This episode was hands down the best episode in the third season, finally some writing that reminds me of the first season, thanks to Laura Neal. Loved everything about it, and I will never be tired to say that Jodie Comer is an absolute blessing. She's breathtaking in every single scene (and finally she gets to do some accents again). I can't believe we only have one episode left.

I keep watching because I''m such a big fan but honestly... it is so difficult to keep my attention on each and every episode of this third season.

So they decided to change the pace, the writing, the overall direction of the show, and it's just not working... Every episode feels like a struggle to watch.

Of course, we still love looking at Jodie and co, but what every character says and does... seriously just doesn't make any sense and is mostly completely pointless.

Every time I finish an episode I feel sad... Now we have one more to go and I doubt it will goes anywhere. Hopefully we can go with another writing team next season.

Lacking quality, consistency and sense.

This episode is very messy. Lacking in any sense. They all appear to be using time machines to travel around. But the show quality is lacking here. Miles apart from series one.

I really want to like it but it feels like a Sports Relief parody. The storyline is all over the place. Very messy and disjointed. Hard to know if there is a story to follow. Very bitty with lots of scenes all just forced into an episode.

Super fans will still love it. But I was left feeling underwhelmed by this one. The intelligence is missing. The storyline stale and dumb.

What's the point?

So we are now introducing characters and killing them for the sake of it. There's no longer any purpose to this show. It's not clever anymore. It's repetitive and there's no sense of direction. There's nothing new in the relationship between the two protagonists. And everything is moving as slow as molasses. Please find a new story editor or put it out of its misery.

I see great promise in Rhian and how she may direct the plot in future episodes.

Dasha? Konstantin? Where are they headed?

Irina? Now there's a whole other set of questions.

Can Caroline ultimately adapt to situations in which she is acted upon as well as acting?

If the writers can provide coherent answers over the next (I presume 9 episodes) then this one jumps up to 9 or 10. If not, push it down to a 2 or 3, based strictly on Jodie Comer's magnetism.
