Introduces the idea that Raj (Kunal Nayyar) can only talk to women after he has a sip of alcohol. Consequently, this is the first time Raj speaks directly to Penny (Kaley Cuoco). She has been in the room when he was speaking in prior installments.

Goofs
When Raj is complaining about having an arranged marriage, he states that he would be married but unable to speak to his wife. Howard then says "it worked for my parents", however, we find out later on that Howard's dad left them when he was very young. Although it wouldn't be implausible that his mother informed him of this glimpse into their personal life.

Getting to Know You

The premise is pretty absurd. Even though this one is a little weak, it's still better than most of the comedies on TV. Raj's parents in India have set him up for an arranged marriage. They are hard core westerners playing at Indian tradition. Raj can't talk to women unless he gets a drink or two in him. I loved the Fiddler tune Sheldon does at the end.
