    Close to unwatchable

Sad really, the level this series sunk to. Painfully bad. Characters I used to love, I pretty much hate all of them now.

I'm hoping the best for Manny

I'm happy this show is saying goodbye to some side characters like (in this episode) Farrah and Jerry. I also liked how in the end Claire started taking to DeDe the tree and it shows that Claire misses her. I really want Cam and Mitch to get another kid by the end of this series because in this episode it is touched upon them being a dad. I hope Manny gets a girlfriend by the end of the series because he is really hurting badly after getting his heart broken. This episode is hopefully setting up some future changes in the characters life such as Cam, Mitch and Manny.

This episode did get laughs from me and Ed O'Neill was a big standout at a point in this episode.

    Well I like Manny

In a final or 'farewell' series of a show you hope that former guest characters will appear again, so I welcomed Farrah and Jerry back here.

I liked the Manny storyline, I thought it continued that characters arc from last series and this. Ed O'Neil continues to show what a class act he is, shining in every scene.

I'm really going to miss the Dunphy's - I liked their storyline a lot.

Even the Cam/Mitch storyline worked, though it would be nice to see the characters interact with others.

    Another good episode overall.

At least it will be over

Well at least I won't be subjected to Cam and his obsession with Going back to Missouri. He's such a brat and I'm just over it. Almost over...

    Culturally INSENSITIVE. It's a VEENA not a Sitar !

This episode shows Farrah holding and saying she played a sitar. It's Veena and there's a lot of difference between the two for those who know and understand Indian Culture. . I play the Veena. For me, it's a blatant appropriation of Indian culture.

    • Trivia
Mitchell mentions how it's all "very Chinatown". He refers to the big twist in that classic movie that Faye Dunaway's character is both the mother and sister of her father's grandchild due to incest.
    • Goofs
In the opening scene, Farrah's chest is blurred, this and Phil/Claire's reaction imply that her breasts are bared. However, a few minutes later when she's drumming in the front hall, Farrah is clearly still wearing the same outfit - a lace patterned dress with a flowery wrap over it - without the blur and it can be seen that the lace patterned dress covers her chest perfectly fine.
    • Quotes

Claire Dunphy: [Phil is holding his hands over a plate of bacon and eggs] Honey, what are you doing?

Phil Dunphy: I just saw this incredible telekinesis video. I'm trying to make a piece of bacon levitate.

Claire Dunphy: Don't you have to, I don't know, work?

Phil Dunphy: Are you saying it'll never happen? Is there perhaps a more colorful way of saying that?

Claire Dunphy: I know you're trying to get me to say "It'll happen when pigs fly."

      Phil Dunphy: That counts!

['Levitates' the bacon off his plate]
