When it started airing, I tried to watch this series and it didn't work for me. Everything seemed wrong. When I saw that it has high ratings and only praise here, I thought: the production is so pathetic with so many 10 ratings. Unbearably unrealistic. But now after the airing of the 3rd season I watched all the episodes and my rating is Very good, Excellent! Well done to the entire team of young actors, to all the authors led by director. Finally a different crime story. Serbian televisions are unbearable with series like "Juzni vetar", "Ubice mog oca", "Drzavni sluzbenik", "Besa" and others. Too many of the same crime stories and that's why I have to emphasize: this one is different.
Edit: I've watched the new season of the TV series "South Wind" to the end. And once again, I feel the need to say that "Clan" is the only crime series in Serbian production that deserves attention. Others don't even deserve criticism on IMDB.

I really enjoyed watching this show. Even thought few episodes were little bit boring and unnecessary, and characters lost their debuting quality, i found this series really interesting and worthy to watch. Its separation in three seasons is totally understandable and amazing in the same time, because it shows different stages that lead main characters to self destruction. This also shows how cautious everyone must be, because every action has its own consequences. It also has many plot twists, so if you are fan of it, totally recommended. Not so long show, but worthy to watch. Full of action, and literal meaning of an old Serbian saying: "Od blata do zlata."
Sok and Pasa are having the best vibe ever. Two young actors, at their first roles ever are managing to be more than perfect. Can't wait to see this duo in the next two episodes and hope that there will be the next season. Great job for the production for believing in them.

Although there are some new faces, I must say I'm glad to finally see some well-known iconic actors. It's a great thing to see Nikola Vujovic playing a bad guy and finally some lively energy amongst the actors.

Even though many tried to film a story about Serbian underground before, this show is one of the best in this genre. The way that small criminals are managing to become one of the main people in Serbian underground is both terrific and comical. Can't wait to see what Sok and Pasa are going to do next!
Watching this show made me realise that this is much different than any other crime tv show filmed in this region. These bad guys that are a part of the Clan are all dangerous, clumsy and funny, just loving this unusual mix of everything!

I am not certain whether my fellow countrymen have suffered some sort of brain damage when they reviewed this as a 10/10 out of them or are they just paid to write stellar reviews of this show. The GoT ending is a masterpiece compared to the brightest moments of this TV show and that is sub-par acting. Nothing about this show makes sense - characters are unlikable and badly portrayed, the audio mixing is criminally bad, the script is god-awful and camera feels amateur at best. Realistically, it's 3/10, but with so many 10s across the board I just had to level the playing field. I hope season 2 never gets made for everybody's sake.
Everyone loves a good crime show, and The Clan makes the cut for being entertaining and dramatic. I was looking forward to watching this and I absolutely didn't regret it! Loving the energy of these young actors, tho.

From a show that is a "crime comedy", you can't expect that much quality wise. Having to portray crime which is gritty and brutal on one hand and make it be funny on the other hand, one of the two has to lack, here the crime aspect is lacking in favor of comedy. Of course, maybe you'd think "The Sopranos", but that is a one in a million show. The plot here exists and is ongoing, we get characters who have realistic perks and flaws and watch them trying to function in these situations. But the show itself is incredibly unrealistic (a dozen guys dressed like hooligans just casually waltzing into a high-end luxury hotel and mauling a guy to death with no security or cameras in front of other people, a guy who is apparently a crime boss being stupid enough to go to the hotel garage to see a car invited by a guy he doesn't know, another big-time gangster offering two nobodies he just met a opportunity to carry out a hit for him). It's entertaining but mediocre quality-wise, and the humor is not good enough to make you laugh but it's passable.

I am just wondering if this user has watched Cotton Club? And is it morally ok to mislead the viewers with these reviews, obviously ordered by production? This series has nothing to do whatsoever with Cotton Club, not one mutual point at all!
Congrats to this incredible production, that decided to give a chance to young and unknown actors. For many, the first role was right on this show, and they did it great.

Tired of shows glorifying criminals? KLAN is here for you. In a ceaseless torrent of new crime drama shows from Scandinavia, Mediterranean, Eastern Europe and last, but not least, the Balkans, KLAN is a breath of fresh air. And I speak both as a moviegoer and as a person which grew up in the midst of a civil war induced crime wave. What KLAN btings to the table is a relentless look at Balkan criminals, for what they are, with no makeup. Scared, petty, cowardly and oportunistic. Sure, they are loveable, but also dim. Seeing this bunch of happles misfits seems like the entire cast of Ettore Scola's Brutti, sporchi e cattivi, emigrated to New York to join the famed criminals of Coppola's The Cotton Club. Just as Francis Ford got tired of movies glorifying crime lords and made this great film in 1984 to subvert this, I am equal measure thrilled to see a show like KLAN coming from my home-contry. It's clever, it's great fun, it brings so many new and interesting actors (and actresses!), and it's bingeworthy. What more can you ask these days?

Really bad and unwatchable, from the first scene in the graveyard. Maybe I had great expectations because I was recently watching similar crime TV-series, but this is not how TV series is made. It looks like a bunch high-school kids got together with cameras and decided to film their first movie. Save your time...

Unwatchable. Wasted time I will never get back.
All 10 star reviews?? How much you got paid? Pathetic.
The acting, scenario....everything was so lame and amateurish.

After watching new episodes this weekend, I can tell this is going to be a fantastic show. It kept me interested and I wanted to see more. It's already beginning to build a brilliant plot so make sure to pay attention to the details. Enjoy!

Acting is the best thing here, and it's mediocre. Watching this TV series is unpleasant experience in every way. It's unrealistic, pathetic and painful to watch because it's poorly written script. Even the music score is giving you bad vibrations (some periods are so annoying that I thought there are some pigeons cooing outside my house) and you can't connect to the main actors at all. Maybe you can, but only if you don't have social life at all and you spend all of your time at home. Even then, If you watched some top class crime series, you'd be heavily eye and brain-punished for your time spent in front of the screen watching this rubbish. Actually, I can't believe this will be shown on Serbian national television.
Maybe it deserves one or two star more, because of the young actors were trying hard, but after seeing someone posted review with 10 stars I must give it only one. Keeping balance in the universe, 1/10.

Who are these actors and why didn't we have a chance to see them before?
Young people that had a chance to show their acting potentials in a whole new tv show is a very brave thing to do. Congratulations to the production and all people that were a part of this show. You must see it!
I really enjoyed watching this show, great production, great actors, especially for the two main characters. An old story which is taking place in a modern time, marvelous.
Even though this story has some connections to real dark times in Serbia back in 90s, the plot of Clan has unique details and comical moments. Difficult way that Sok and Pasa has gone is intertwined with both successes and failures, but in the end they make a best of both situations. Just loving the Clan!
This series is not for people who are not open-minded. It's important to recognize the other picture of that criminal word in this show. This team is hasty, but very amusing, and that's the reason why the series holds attention. Very entertaining, well done .
This serie is worse than my english language. Tried to watch some episode, two football teams fixing match... So amateur I had to stop immidiately..
A fan of Serbian crime series of late, they've been producing quality content in recent years at least on par with what an average Netflix show has to offer and as a rule what made up for lower budgets and lack of international star power was top notch writing, modern directing and amazing acting talent Serbia seems to have. Not much of that in Klan, though, it has a weak script, unimaginative directing and while some acting is semi decent, the two leads are poorly cast, they lack the charisma and screen presence to pull off a crime saga, especially working with such poor material. Too bad, Klan's been hyped almost as Serbian Gangs of Wasseypur, a thinly veiled biopic of the notorious Zemun clan responsible for the assassination of the prime minister of Serbia in 2003. Best skipped.
