In the first stages of the making of the script a working title for the film was EXODE (Exodus). Afterwards the title of HOMBRE DE NINGUNA PARTE (A Nowhere Man) was also considered. It was even announced publicly, during the crowdfunding campaign with this title initially. But once the editing of the movie was completed, the creative team realized that the movie needed a simpler and specific title that described the place of peace, freedom and personal growth that the character searches during the whole movie. So, they considered EL SITIO DE OTTO (A Place for Otto) to be much more specific and intriguing.
