Kj Dell’Antonia’s best-selling 2020 novel The Chicken Sisters is being adapted into a new original TV series at Hallmark Channel, TVLine has learned.
A family drama with southern charm and romance, the eight-episode Chicken Sisters series is set in the fictional town of Merinac, “where a generations-old rift between dueling fried chicken restaurants — Mimi’s and Frannie’s — has left the founders’ families fractured and the locals taking sides,” reads its official description. “When popular cooking competition show Kitchen Clash comes to town, this could be the recipe for ending this feud once and for all. But things are fixing...

FX is helping to celebrate the season of beasties and ghoulies with a special four-part American Horror Stories Huluween event. The network’s just released a short but creepy teaser for the upcoming event that’s set to premiere on October 26, 2023.
The teaser was accompanied by four posters – “Besties,” “Organ,” “Tapeworm,” and “Daphne” – for the Huluween event.
The Huluween event continues the American Horror Stories tradition of featuring a different horror story in each episode. Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, American Horror Stories is a spinoff of Murphy and Falchuk’s American Horror Story anthology series. American Horror Stories premiered in July 2021, with an eight-episode season two following in July 2022.
Murphy, Falchuk, Alexis Martin Woodall, Max Winkler, Manny Coto, and Jon Robin Baitz serve as executive producers.
Season 12 of American Horror Story, AHS: Delicate, premiered on September 20, 2023. New episodes of season 12 part one air on Wednesdays at 10pm Et/Pt.

Big Brother 24 viewers who have been cheering on the Leftovers alliance from home likely didn’t love this week’s Split House twist, what with Kyle mercilessly throwing his allies under DJ Showtime’s Chicago bus at the first sign of trouble.
But as disappointing as it’s been to watch The Leftovers implode — on one side of the house, at least — pitting Brochella against Dyre Fest has given Season 24 the precise amount of drama that it needed at this point in the summer. Of course, if Big Brother‘s producers wanted so badly to break up a super-alliance, they...

Big Brother 24 spoilers now include the Week 6 nominations, which were just revealed by the new Head of Household.
Daniel Durston got sent home on Thursday night, bringing his time in the game to an end, but the rest of the houseguests had to compete in an important Hoh Competition that same night.
Speaking of Daniel, he says that he got a “villain edit” from Big Brother producers and he continued to push stories that weren’t true in several of his post-show interviews.
As for the remaining members of the BB24 cast, they played in an Endurance Challenge called The Wall. The competition didn’t last very long, but it will be featured on the August 14 episode of the show.
Taylor Hale emerged as the endurance winner, marking the first time that she has won a challenge this summer.

Big Brother 24‘s Daniel might not know the exact name of the Leftovers alliance, but he has correctly identified all seven houseguests that are in it. And yet, that information has barely helped him as he’s tried to wrangle enough votes to stay this week — a strategy that, bafflingly, involved talking about The Leftovers directly to one of its members, Joseph. Ok, then!

The Big Brother 24 cast sent another houseguest home on Thursday night (August 11), leaving just 11 people competing for the 750,000 prize this summer.
Michael Bruner was the Head of Household during the week, giving him the power to set a target and help determine who would be the final houseguest to get sent home before the jury stage.
The episode also marked the end of the Besties twist on the BB24 cast, bringing an end to the duos and trios that had been competing for the past few weeks.
Now, everyone is on their own, and The Wall has arrived in the backyard. The winner of this intense Endurance Challenge will take over the house and get to set a path going forward.
When Michael won the Power of Veto, again, he also got to...
