- All male centaurs are shirtless, for the most part. All female centaurs have fur or other markings in the shape of tube tops or other clothing on their upper bodies.
- Some episodes have frequent jokes about shirtless male characters with pronounced abs.
- Infrequent references to characters being "hot."

- A protagonist commits suicide by jumping into the air and allowing themselves to be eaten by a whale.
- A character falls to their death after being pushed from a cliff.
- A monstrous creature eats a character alive. Its jaw unhinges and opens wider than physically possible; the character is seen screaming in pain as they are digested and melted by the stomach acids.
- A character is impaled by a sword and another by a spear.
Profanity
-
- Most of the time, the word "Goose" is used in place of "God", as in "Oh my goose."
- Some episodes use "flonk" as an euphemism for the F-word ("get the flonk out," "make this flonking awesome").
- "Crap" is used once in S02E02 and in S02E05.
- "Turd" is also used, but rarely.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- One episode shows champagne bottles and it's referenced.
- One episode briefly shows what appears to be a cup with beer.

- A character is a kleptomaniac. Her obsession is joked throughout, and it's never discouraged realistically.
- Some scenes related to characters' backstories can be intense.
- Every scene where the Nowhere King is in one way or another can be intense and scary.
- There are also rude jokes (like gross-out and crude humor) throughout.
Spoilers
Violence & Gore
- Verbal references to joining a war. Violence is glamorised throughout.
- In season 2 finale, many Minotaurs are killed in many ways, some of them spray black liquid. A character is nearly drowned by another. A character has a bloodied cut on his nose. Two characters are stabbed, although the act is not shown; one of them actually survives.
- A major antagonist is kicked in the chest by a horse and falls from a tall cliff, killing him.
- In the final episode, one of the main protagonists is suddenly impaled through the back by her mentor with a sword. There is a clear view of the bloody blade entering her back and the tip sticking out of the stomach. The sword is then pulled out, causing blood to arc through the air.
- A fatally wounded character begins to cry as they realize that they can't escape punishment; following this, an anti-hero character raises a large spear and strikes the character in the head with it, with the spear stabbing and killing them.
