The third installment in the Sonic the Hedgehog film franchise is poised to dash past Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King at the box office as both films hit theaters on Dec. 20. Per The Hollywood Reporter, both films are expected to do well, given that each has a family-friendly PG-rating.

Since the first Sonic the Hedgehog was released in 2020, the Sonic movies have become a juggernaut for Paramount and Sega. Sonic 3 is expected to lead the way this weekend, with estimates putting its three-day box office tally at between $60 and $70 million. Twenty years after it first hit theaters, Constantine is finally getting a 4K Ultra HD upgrade.

The DC Vertigo adaptation, which stars Keanu Reeves as the Hellblazing occultist, will be available to purchase either on a 4K Blu-ray disc with a standard or steelbook copy, or digitally via all major online retailers from February 18 (you can check out a list of additional features below).

Constantine 2’s director, Francis Lawrence, opened up to Comic Book to tell fans why it took so long for a sequel - even though he’d been wanting to do it since the first movie hit theaters in 2005.

Due to a lack of official updates on The Batman - Part II over the past while, there's been some concern that the highly-anticipated sequel could soon face another delay. Director Matt Reeves and others involved with the project have assured fans that things are still on track for a 2025 shoot, but a recent report told a slightly diffrent story.

The long-awaited sequel to Constantine is finally gaining momentum, two years after it was first announced, according to a key figure involved in the production of the eagerly anticipated sequel. In a recent interview after Collider's Transformers One IMAX 3D screening with Collider's Steve Weintraub, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura confirmed that the script for Constantine 2 is finished. Although he hasnt yet read it, the timing of the question was fortuitous as di Bonaventura revealed he was going to be reading it at the end of the week. He expressed excitement, saying, "Akiva Goldsman wrote it, and I am super excited. I'm going to read it this weekend." During Collider's Producers on Producing panel at Sdcc, Goldsman confirmed he was working on the script, which now sits in Bonaventura's hands.
