Damian Lewis (Band of brothers, An Unfinished Life) gives a great performance in this new cop show about a man who was unfairly prosecuted and imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. I started with this episode, as I was not aware of this series. I am glad I got tuned into it.
Lewis is ably assisted by Sarah Shahi (For Your Consideration) and Adam Arkin (Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, "Chicoago Hope"). The three of them really make the show worth watching as they add humor to the drama. It is a slow show in that the characters are more fully developed than is usual for the typical cop show that focuses on action. Action is essential, but not overwhelming.
It also reminds me a lot of The Fugative as Lewis search for clues as to who really committed the crime he was incarcerated for.
Got to catch the first two episodes before next week.
