- GoofsUS military personnel and veterans never refer to the Colt .45 Model 1911 automatic pistol as the "M11". It is known by several other nomenclatures, such as "Colt .45 Automatic", "45 Auto", "Model 1911" or "M1911", but never the M11, which is an entirely different pistol introduced much later to the US military than the era than of the weapon referred to.

Kathryn Erbe is Absolutely Superb in this Very Personal Episode
Put quite simply, Kathryn Erbe gives one of the finest performances of her excellent career in this episode. The script calls for her to reveal the heart and soul of the character of Eames in subtle ways that few other actors could do so superbly. The scene at the funeral and in the car leaving the wake are deeply moving and unforgettable. Another scene involving Eames' sorting through some clothing of her murdered husband brings tears to our eyes as she finally becomes emotional. While many seem to miss it in Erbe's portrayal of Eames, this is only one of many times that she touches the viewers in this way. Although in the first season the producers had not yet found a solid footing for the character and several villains were gunned down without a second thought, in the future Erbe showed incredible depth whenever she reluctantly was forced to draw her weapon and fire it. Often times on these occasions, tears could be seen in her eyes and she was visibly shaken following a shooting. Her co-star may have been the brain of Law and Order:Criminal Intent, but Ms. Erbe was the heart and played it beautifully.
