A woman sees some blood on a shirt on a clothesline. The shirt has an angel on it, and when she tries to rub the blood off, the blood oozes from the angel's hands. This is fairly scary; it is obviously all in her head rather than actually happening.

A snake's corpse is shown, but only a bit of blood is seen.

A woman shoves a pin into her finger very slowly in a painful closeup and smears the blood from the cut on her lips, in the form of mock lipstick.

There are a few brief shots of slabs of meat going through a meat processing facility on television. They are shown being sawed through with machinery.

A small, bloody cut is seen on a girl's knee. Her brother bandages it.

"Damn" is said once.

A mother calls her youngest daughter a "filthy little bitch."

It is unclear, but it sounds as if a man says "f**k" once.

"Son of a bitch" is used once.

A man smokes a cigarette when he wakes up.

A man says someone will probably "be drunk" later that night.

A man smokes cigarettes quite a bit.

A man offers a beer to a man, but he declines.

A man rolls up a joint or marijuana and smokes it with much pleasure. He drinks beer as well.

The plot is about a mother trying to kill her children, so the whole movie is very frightening, particularly for parents.

There are a few scenes in the beginning which could be considered frightening, as the mother seems to lose her mind.
