Image
Reading Time: 3 minutes

Melinda Gates has released a new memoir titled The Next Day.

And while her split from billionaire Microsoft founder Bill Gates has been mostly amicable, he’s probably not entirely thrilled with the way he’s portrayed in his ex’s new book.

Though the dissolution of her marriage is not the central focus of the memoir, Melinda does provide new details pertaining to the events of 2019, the year, she says, when her relationship with Bill began to crumble.

Image
Check what an award-winning sci-fi director once said about Avatar ( Photo Credit – Instagram )

James Cameron’s visually stunning epic sci-fi blockbuster ‘Avatar’ received tremendous praise from fans and critics across the globe after its theatrical release in 2009. Avatar and its sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water, are among the top five highest-grossing movies of all time globally.

Eminent filmmakers like Steven Spielberg and Edgar Wright have expressed their admiration for the film in the past.

This Award-Winning Director Wasn’t Very Happy With Avatar

However, some viewers opined that Avatar was not the best film directed by James Cameron. For instance, the immensely talented British filmmaker Duncan Jones once said (as reported by SlashFilm) that Avatar wasn’t in his top three James Cameron films.

Bill Gates Has Asperger’s Syndrome, Daughter Phoebe Gates Reveals
Image
Phoebe Gates, daughter of billionaire Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, disclosed that her father has Asperger’s syndrome—a condition he has not publicly confirmed himself.

In a recent appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Phoebe humorously recounted the experience of introducing boyfriends to her father, describing him as “pretty socially awkward” and noting, “He’s said before, he has Asperger’s.”

While Bill Gates, 69, has never formally announced a diagnosis, he has acknowledged traits consistent with autism spectrum disorder (Asd).

In his 2025 memoir Source Code, Bill reflected on his childhood behaviors, such as intense focus on projects and difficulty picking up social cues, stating, “If I were growing up today, I probably would be diagnosed on the autism spectrum.”

Bill recently revealed that he was glad that Phoebe didn’t ask him for money to back her shopping app.

Jake Gyllenhaal’s Childhood Dream Came True With Ambulance! Why He Always Wanted To Work With Michael Bay!
Image
Jake Gyllenhaal Ambulance Action Scene ( Photo Credit – Instagram )

“I’ve always had this sort of dream since I was younger to be in a Michael Bay [movie].” And Jake Gyllenhaal finally made it happen with Ambulance. If you ever wondered what it’s like to star in a Bay explosion-fest, Gyllenhaal had been wondering the same thing, since he was a kid.

Ambulance was classic Bay chaos. Two brothers (Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) planned a bank heist. It went south. They hijacked an ambulance. Cue the sirens, bullet storms, and high-speed mayhem through L.A., with an injured cop and an Emt (Eiza González) trapped inside. The movie did what Bay movies do – big action, big explosions, and enough plot holes to drive, well, an ambulance through. Critics weren’t exactly in love, but it pulled a decent 67% on Rotten Tomatoes.

For Gyllenhaal, this wasn’t just another role; it was a full-circle moment.

14 Years Later, Jake Gyllenhaal's Teased Sequel To An Overlooked Sci-Fi Movie Still Hasn't Happened
Image
Jake Gyllenhaal starred in a high-concept sci-fi movie in 2011 which ended in such a way that it seemed to brilliantly set up a sequel, but the project has yet to be revisited. The movie in question is one of Jake Gyllenhaal's best movies but it's quite often overlooked in favor of the actor's more well-known films. Granted, it could easily fall into the group of confusing movies that only make sense right at the end, but its biggest twists and turns are artfully foreshadowed throughout its 90-minute runtime.

2011's Source Code follows Gyllenhaal's Captain Colter Stevens as he's forced to experience the same eight-minute sequence of events over and over again in an attempt to discover the identity of a domestic terrorist who is gearing up to strike again. Although Source Code initially deceives its audience into thinking the story belongs to the category of cool time loop movies, it's...

Source Code's "Simulation" Rules Explained: Is Colter Creating New Realities?
Image
Source Code's high-concept storyline leads to fast-paced action sequences set during an eight-minute time loop aboard a doomed train, but the scenario's countless repetitions come with additional meaning thanks to the movie's biggest twist. Despite leaning heavily into one specific sci-fi trope, Source Code's ending reveals Jake Gyllenhaal's Captain Colter Stevens is up against something entirely different, retroactively transforming the gravitas of all the movie's previous events. In short, Source Code doesn't fall into the category of traditionally cool time loop movies - it's something else entirely.

Alongside his mission to identify the train bomber, Captain Stevens is also given a list of things that aren't believed to be possible within the scenario. Regardless, Colter finds new ways to seemingly bend the rules and achieves things that seriously bring into question the nature of the train. The gradual unveiling of what's really going on is a big...

Source Code Ending Explained: Where Is Colter?
Image
This article discusses assisted suicide.

Source Code's mind-bending storyline begins under the illusion of leaning on one specific sci-fi trope, but it ultimately turns out to be something entirely different, which can make its ending pretty confusing even though it's brilliantly executed. While it could be argued to be one of those confusing movies that only make sense right at the end, Source Code falls into a different category, as it prioritizes action under a placeholder explanation. It stands out from many other Jake Gyllenhaal movies for several reasons, but its most appealing aspect is the shocking revelation in its final moments.

Source Code's creative spin on time loop movies all starts with Jake Gyllenhaal's Captain Colter Stevens not knowing he's essentially dead, with his remains being preserved by the military as they experiment with an advanced program that they believe to be a repeatable simulation. The Source Code...

Ignore That 29% Rotten Tomatoes Rating — 2016's 'Warcraft' Is Actually a Badass Action Fantasy
Image
Back in 2016, Duncan Jones, the director of sci-fi films Moon and Source Code, set out to end the curse that had plagued film adaptations of video game franchises with the fantasy epic Warcraft. Historically, video game movies were either completely unexceptional or exceptional in how poorly they adapted their source material. In recent years, there have been more successful attempts, but many have still missed the mark, like the recent Borderlands, or Paramount’s Halo series, which was recently canceled. The failures are steadily beginning to seem the exception rather than the rule, however, with films like Sonic The Hedgehog and The Super Mario Bros. Movie being well-received and financially successful, and HBO’s The Last of Us and Amazon’s Fallout both collecting Golden Globe and Emmy nominations. Warcraft, however, was entering a market that was even more skeptical of video game adaptations.

Jake Gyllenhaal-Led Boxing Drama Southpaw Is Now Streaming for Free
Image
Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal has become well-renowned for committing both his body and mind to roles, resulting in powerfully magnetic performances, with one of his best being that of boxer Billy "the Great" Hope in 2015s Southpaw. While the sports drama was met with somewhat mixed reviews at the time, Gyllenhaals dedication is undeniable, and audiences and fans of the actor can now sit back and stream the boxing outing for free.

Directed by Antoine Fuqua, who is best known for the likes of Training Day and The Equalizer franchise, and written by Kurt Sutter, Southpaw features an all-star cast that includes Oscar winner Forest Whitaker and Rachel McAdams alongside Gyllenhaal, and tells the classic boxing tale of a fighter against the ropes and fighting for a comeback after his wife is killed, and his daughter is taken into protective services. Southpaw can now be streamed for free on Tubi,...

Jake Gyllenhaals Underrated Time Travel Movie Redeemed One Of His Worst Films 1 Year Later
Image
Around 2011, Jake Gyllenhaal starred in Source Code, a time travel movie that is underrated because of how it made up for the actor's other, less-than-stellar time travel movie from just one year earlier. Over the course of his career, Jake Gyllenhaal has been the star of numerous movies with rather unique premises. He has played a creepy crime scene photographer, a closeted cowboy, and a college professor obsessed with his doppelgnger. However, one especially interesting trend in Gyllenhaal's career occurred between 2010 and 2011, when he starred in two time travel films: one good and one bad.

Gyllenhaal's good time travel movie was Source Code. Released in 2011, the movie follows Gyllenhaal as Colter Stevens, a helicopter pilot who is given the ability to relive the final minutes of a deceased man's life. He does this in order to figure out who bombed the train that the man died on. Yet, Colter decides...

What David Bowies Death Had To Do With Celebrity Big Brothers Most Iconic Moment

David Gest's extensive eye surgery led houseguests to mistakenly believe he had died in his sleep. The aftermath of the incident led to a museum exhibition and Tiffany Pollard selling 'David is Dead' t-shirts.

In 2016, season 17 of Celebrity Big Brother gave the world one of the most iconic reality TV moments in Big Brother history.

Celebrity Big Brother Season 17 was eventually won by Geordie Shore star Scotty T, but the series featured a stellar line-up, that included British reality TV heavyweights, including Gemma Collins, Stephanie Davis, Jeremy McConnell, Megan McKenna, Christopher Maloney, and Darren Day.

This season of Celebrity Big Brother is remembered for the standout moment involving David Gest, Angie Bowie, Tiffany 'New York' Pollard, and the late David Bowie.

One Of Tom Cruise's Best Action Movies Lands On Netflix's Global Chart 10 Years Later
Image
One of Tom Cruise's best action movies, Edge of Tomorrow, lands on Netflix's global chart 10 years later. Directed by Doug Liman from a script co-written by Mission: Impossible's Christopher McQuarrie (loosely based on the novel All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka), the 2014 sci-fi action film follows a public relations officer with no combat experience who is forced to fight in a landing operation in an alien-occupied Europe and subsequently finds himself stuck in a time loop. With Cruise and Emily Blunt in lead roles, Edge of Tomorrow's cast also includes Bill Paxton and Brendan Gleeson.

Now, 10 years after its theatrical release, one of Tom Cruise's best action movies has landed on Netflix's global chart. Edge of Tomorrow ranks seventh on Netflix's Global Top 10 chart for the week of September 9-15 with 4.1 million views and 7.7 million hours viewed. This 2011 Movie Saved Jake Gyllenhaal After His $366 Million Franchise Attempt Collapsed
Image
There's no denying that Jake Gyllenhaal is a huge Hollywood A-lister now, but back in 2010, his promising career could have come to a screeching halt if it weren't for Source Code's release a year later. When Gyllenhaal got into TV and film acting in 1991, it took a little bit of time for the young man's career to fully take shape. However, by 1999, he starred as Homer Hickam in October Sky and launched his career as a leading man.

Two years later, he starred in Donnie Darko, and again had an influx of attention that opened doors for new opportunities. While his career saw him take on challenging roles in complex and interesting films, things almost went in a very different direction when he starred in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time in 2010. While studios were building franchises, the Prince of Persia video game adaptation was a hopeful contender, but...

Gyllenhaal's Source Code remains his most acclaimed sci-fi film with a 92% Rotten Tomatoes score, showcasing his talent in the genre. Known to be one of the most prolific actors of modern times, Jake Gyllenhaal has dipped his feet in several movie genres. 'It Was Never Gonna Work': Ex-Machina Producer Recalls Pressure to Cast Jake Gyllenhaal in the Leading Role

Casting someone in a movie is difficult because casting directors have to make sure they have the best person for the job. Sometimes, it also comes with outside pressure, as Ex Machina producer Andrew Macdonald recalled the film included a suggestion to bring A-list actor Jake Gyllenhaal on board.

Per Deadline, while speaking at the Edinburgh Film Festival, Ex Machina director Alex Garland and producer Andrew Macdonald looked back at their time working on the Oscar-winning film and recalled how it almost had a different lead actor: Gyllenhaal. Ex Machina starred Alicia Vikander as Ava, the highly advanced humanoid artificial intelligence, and Oscar Isaac as Nathan Bateman, the CEO of a search engine company. Also starring Domhnall Gleeson, the film took home the Oscar for Best Visual Effects and was also nominated for Best Original Screenplay.

Jake Gyllenhaal's Time Travel Movie With 92% On Rt Beat Tom Cruise's Best Sci-Fi By 3 Years
Image
Hollywood capitalizes on trending themes, leading to multiple movies with similar concepts. Jake Gyllenhaal's Source Code preceded Tom Cruise's Edge of Tomorrow by 3 years. Source Code's clever script, twist ending, and success at the box office make it stand out.

In 2011, Jake Gyllenhaal starred in the incredible and underrated time travel movie, Source Code, which preceded the surprisingly similar Edge of Tomorrow by three years. Hollywood tends to tune in to what is in vogue and create movies that tie in with popular and trendy themes. Whether it's zombies, irreverent comedies, parody movies, or expansive sci-fi, it's common for these concepts to get multiple movies within a few years.

This same phenomenon occurred in the 2010s with time travel movies. Predestination, Looper, About Time, and Arrival all offered different takes on a time travel story, focused on action, romance, or other alternative genres. However, while the absurdly...

Star Treks Prequel Movie Needs Scott Bakula
Image
Star Trek's untitled prequel movie should include Scott Bakula as Jonathan Archer to honor the series' history and fans. Bakula's return would add legitimacy to the prequel movie and connect it to the established Star Trek canon. Jonathan Archer's importance as the father of the Federation makes him a crucial character to include in the film.

Star Trek's untitled prequel movie needs Scott Bakula from Star Trek: Enterprise. Director Toby Haynes is mounting an Untitled Star Trek Origin movie for Paramount Pictures. Written by Seth Grahame-Smith, Haynes' Star Trek prequel is reportedly set "decades before" J.J. Abrams' Star Trek movies, which would place it in Star Trek's Prime Timeline before the creation of Abrams' alternate Kelvin timeline. Star Trek's prequel movie is also said to be set mostly on Earth, with humanity dealing with aliens and the founding of the United Federation of Planets.

Omni Loop | Trailer for incoming time loop comedy
Mary-Louise Parker and Ayo Edebiri in Omni Loop (2024)
The Bear's Ayo Edebiri star continues to rise as she takes a central role in time loop film Omni Loop, opposite Mary-Louise Parker.

Excuse the poor time travel gag, but what is it about time loop movies that never gets old?

We’ve seen the narrative conceit bolted on to almost every genre imaginable at this point, but it’s an idea that still feels fresh even though the decades since 1993’s Groundhog Day have given us Edge Of Tomorrow, Palm Springs, Happy Death Day, Source Code and more. There’s a whole range of genres in that list alone and the list of time loop movies goes way beyond that smattering of titles.

Get set for another entry in the genre, with the arrival of Omni Loop in September. The film premiered at South by Southwest in March of this year. Ahead of the film’s release in the US next month,...

Jake Gyllenhaals Time Travel Movie With 92% On Rotten Tomatoes Added A Genius Twist To The Groundhog Day Trope
Image
Source Code exceeded box office expectations with high stakes and a thrilling plot. The unique time travel concept in Source Code adds depth and authenticity to the story. Despite critical acclaim, Source Code is overlooked and underrated in the time travel movie genre.

Time travel is a challenging thing to do right, but Source Code starring Jake Gyllenhaal is ridiculously underrated considering how well it builds a story around time travel. Sci-fi as a genre is known for its ability to push the envelope and be experimental with its stories. For this reason, things like defying time, and the natural laws of physics can be properly explored in a semi-realistic format through the medium.

However, not all time travel movies are created equally. For every brilliant classic like Back to the Future, there are a dozen or more that suffer from either over or under complications of the practice. But,...

Poorly-Reviewed 2016 Video Game Adaptation Lands On Netflix's Top 10 Chart in US
Image
The Warcraft movie, based on the popular video game series, has landed on Netflix's Top 10 chart in the US. Despite initial negative reviews and box office disappointment, Warcraft has found success on Netflix. Warcraft's performance highlights the evolving landscape of video game adaptations in film and television.

Warcraft has landed on Netflix's Top 10 chart in the United States. Based on Blizzard's video game series of the same name, the 2016 action fantasy film follows heroes on opposing sides of a war, as a horde of Orcs invades the planet Azeroth using a magic portal. A Forgotten Fantasy Epic Is Ranking High On Netflix's Top Movie Charts
Image
One of Netflix's tactics to keep audiences engaged is finding forgotten films and presenting them to modern viewers. So often the streamer asks us all the question, "Are you sure you didn't like this when it first came out?," and apparently our collective response is frequently "No, actually, it's kinda good." This happened earlier this year with forgotten action movie "The Bricklayer" and prior to that Netflix breathed new life into Keanu Reeves' 2008 crime-thriller "Street Kings." In the latter's case, it was a worthy resurgence for a decent little effort from director David Ayer that slipped under the radar when it first released. But in the case of, say, "The Snowman," which resurfaced in Netflix in 2023 after a dismal theatrical debut back in 2017, we started to get the idea that Netflix viewers will watch pretty much anything.

Now, the streaming juggernaut is once again offering a forgotten film somewhat of a reprieve.

Was the Warcraft Movie Successful and Will There Ever Be a Sequel?

Quick Links Warcraft Bombed at the Box Office and With Critics Warcraft Did Very Well Overseas (But It's Complicated) No Sequel In Sight

During the mid-2000s and into the early 2010s, it felt like no video game in the world was bigger than the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (Mmorpg) World of Warcraft. The series that began in 1994 with Warcraft: Orcs and Humans had been going strong for a decade but exploded into popularity with the online game, where it would be referenced and parodied in popular mainstream programs like South Park and How I Met Your Mother. By 2014, there were over one million registered players, so it only made sense for a big-budget feature film set within the world to arrive, and 2016's Warcraft looked to be the next big franchise.

In 2016, the idea of a video game movie still evoked negative connotations of films like Doom, Street Fighter,...

What Happened to the 'Source Code' Sequel?
Image
Director Duncan Jones made a name for himself when he directed 2008's Moon, the indie hit that led to the filmmaker directing 2011's Source Code. The sci-fi thriller stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Captain Colter Stevens, a soldier whose consciousness can be placed in the source code computer program which "enables you to cross over into another man's identity in the last eight minutes of his life." The man in question is Sean, whose only real value for Colter's mission is that he was present for a bomb explosion on a Chicago L-train. Colter's mind is tasked with reliving the events prior to the explosion over and over again until he can identify the terrorist responsible. It's a great premise worthy of several potential stories, but sadly we've yet to see any sequels.

An American Bombing: The Road to April 19th looks at the surge of political violence and anti-government sentiment that led to the 1995 Oklahoma City Bombing, and the effects still felt nearly 30 years later. HBO is also returning with a second part to their popular docuseries The Jinx, with filmmakers continuing their investigation of Robert Durst.

But if documentaries aren’t your thing, there’s still plenty of popular films hitting Max in April, like Scott Pilgrim vs. The World,...

Jake Gyllenhaal's Road House Remake Could Be What He's Been Searching 14 Years For
Image
Jake Gyllenhaal's 2024 Road House remake could finally fill the void he has been trying to fill for the past 14 years in terms of achieving franchise success. The success of Road House could potentially kickstart Jake Gyllenhaal's first movie franchise, with the film's exclusive release on Amazon Prime Video providing opportunities for sequels. While Gyllenhaal has had previous attempts at starting franchises, such as Prince of Persia and Source Code, they failed to take off. Road House offers him a chance to break this trend and create a successful franchise.

Jake Gyllenhaal stars in 2024's Road House, and the remake could be just what he's been searching for during the last 14 years. The new action movie reimagines the cult classic action movie from 1989 starring Patrick Swayze, with Gyllenhaal taking over the lead role. The Road House remake brings Dalton's story to the modern day, mixing in an Mma backstory to increase the action.

Rogue Trooper: Duncan Jones returns to the director’s chair for an animated sci-fi epic
Image
Duncan Jones made an incredible debut with his Sam Rockwell-starring sci-fi, Moon. However, his follow-ups haven’t collected as much acclaim with the Groundhog Day-on-a-train thriller Source Code, his step into the big-budget franchise world with Warcraft, and his high-concept Netflix sci-fi, Mute. For years, Jones has been developing an adaptation of the comic Rogue Trooper, which is to be an animated feature. The production has been rolling along, and Variety has revealed the cast of actors that Jones has been able to compile for the film.

Aneurin Barnard, Hayley Atwell and Jack Lowden are reportedly said to be the main cast in the lead roles for the science-fiction animated film. Barnard, whose credits include The Goldfinch and Dunkirk, is set to star as the eponymous Rogue Trooper. Joining him in the movie is Atwell, who is known for her roles in the Captain America movies and various Marvel Studios appearances,...

The White Lotus: Carrie Coon joins already stacked season 3 cast
Image
Update: Max announced today that the great Carrie Coon (The Gilded Age) has joined the already stacked cast of The White Lotus season 3. I can’t wait.

Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Dom Hetrakul and Tayme Thapthimthong will join the cast, with Natasha Rothwell returning. From the look of it, The White Lotus Season 3 cast is just as exciting as previous installments of the series.

The White Lotus Season 3 takes place in Thailand, with filming scheduled around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok in February. The plot revolves around a new group of guests at another White Lotus location. Frustratingly, few details about the cast have been made available. Still, we know the cast features a patriarch, a female corporate executive, an actress, a couple of mothers,...

Leap: Moon Knight’s Mohamed Diab to direct sci-fi thriller
Image
Director Mohamed Diab got started working on dramas, making his feature debut with the 2010 film Cairo 678, about “three women and their search for justice from the daily plight of sexual harassment in Egypt.” That was followed by the 2016 film Clash, which takes place entirely inside a police van and shows what happens when “a number of detainees from different political and social backgrounds are brought together by fate”. In 2021, he made Amira, which showed that a “girl’s world is turned upside down when she learns the man she grew up idolizing is not her real father.” Then he shifted gears, directing four of the six episodes that made up the Marvel / Disney+ series Moon Knight. And now Deadline reports that Diab has signed on to direct a sci-fi thriller called Leap.

Scripted by Source Code writer Ben Ripley and produced by The Picture Company, Leap is “a high...

‘Moon Knight’ Helmer Mohamed Diab Takes ‘Leap’ On Sci-Fi Thriller With The Picture Company & Studiocanal
Image
Exclusive: Mohamed Diab is set to direct Leap, a high concept action thriller script by Source Code writer Ben Ripley and produced by The Picture Company.

This follows Studiocanal’s recent acquisition of a minority stake in The Picture Company under an expanded overall deal made during Cannes. Leap is a priority project for both companies. Partners Andrew Rona & Alex Heineman will produce for The Picture Company.

Pic is set aboard the Eurostar train which runs high-speed between London and Paris. Leap is a high-concept action-thriller with a grounded sci-fi idea at the center. The story follows a daring rescue mission to save one of the train’s passengers, who is trapped onboard in a never-ending time loop.

Diab’s breakout turn came when he recently directed the Marvel Studios/Disney+ series Moon Knight, starring Oscar Isaac. Diab made his directorial debut on Cairo 678, about a trio of female vigilantes...

The Brave and the Bold Can Fix a Dark Knight Trilogy Mistake
Image
David S. Goyer wanted Jake Gyllenhaal to play Batman in the Dark Knight Trilogy. In the years since those movies, Jake Gyllenhaal has proven his ability to play darker roles, such as Loki in Prisoners. The Brave and the Bold presents an opportunity for Jake Gyllenhaal to finally put on the cape and cowl.

When it comes to the Dark Knight Trilogy, Christopher Nolan's mistakes were few and far between. The cast was sublime, packing A-listers at every corner, and Christian Bale proved himself as Bruce Wayne. His Caped Crusader was physically tested in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, with Tom Hardy's Bane then doing a mental job on him as well in The Dark Knight Rises. But Bale was always bigger than the role, leaving something to be desired with his take on Batman.

Interestingly, writer David S. Goyer recently revealed that he advocated for Jake...

The Nun Actor Sues Warner Bros For Allegedly Hiding Her Share Of Profits
Image
The Nun star Bonnie Aarons has sued Warner Bros. for allegedly withholding her share of merchandise profits, claiming that the documents provided were inconsistent. Aarons played the demonic nun Valak in The Conjuring 2 and reprised the role in The Nun, which became the franchise's highest-grossing film. Her original contract included fixed compensation and a bonus based on box office performance, but also stipulated a share of merchandise licensing profits.

The Weekly Watchlist: Sweet Tooth Season 2 And Citadel
Image
This week's big streaming releases include the return of "Sweet Tooth," a rare post-apocalyptic tale that's all about optimism (and cute critters), and the premiere of "Citadel," the second-most-expensive TV show ever made and the hopeful start of a global franchise. Elsewhere, if you want more apocalyptic fun with big smiles and dark undertones, there's "Ranking of Kings" and "Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts." Or perhaps you want something before the apocalypse but with dark forces starting to gather, like the criminally underseen "The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance." For something completely different, "Person of Interest" is a spy thriller with some rather prescient thoughts about AI, "Source Code" is a fun sci-fi time loop thriller, "Spies in Disguise," is a hilarious take on the "James Bond" formula, and "Everything Everywhere All at Once" stares at the end of the world and chooses kindness.
