New York -- Three days before the premiere of his self-titled Fox News Channel program, Sean Hannity is in motion.
On Friday morning, Hannity was boarding the shuttle to New York City from a trip this week to Washington, where he interviewed President Bush and former Gop presidential candidate John McCain. The interviews will air during the first and second weeks of the new show, which begins Monday night at 9 p.m. Et. He's going to do his three-hour radio show and the last "Hannity & Colmes" later that day.
What should viewers expect from Hannity, where they'll get their daily dose of the conservative talk show host who is going to be without Alan Colmes in the time slot for the first time in 12 years?
"It's going to be fun," promised Hannity.
Not that Hannity isn't used to being a solo act. He's got a very popular syndicated radio show and,...

New York -- After weeks trying to find a suitable replacement for the departing Alan Colmes, Sean Hannity will go it alone.
Hannity on Jan. 12 will debut "Hannity," a retooled version of the second highest-rated program in cable news (after Fox News Channel's own "The O'Reilly Factor"). It will be the first time since signing on in 1996 that Fox News Channel has changed its 9 p.m. program in any way, the network said.
Fox News said that a program centered around Hannity was better than trying to find a replacement for Colmes.
"In the end, we couldn't replace Alan and the chemistry those two had, the friendship they had," said Bill Shine, senior vp programming at Fox News Channel. At the same time, Fox News wanted to showcase Hannity.
But it's not going to just be Hannity. Shine said that the idea is to have, along with Hannity, something called "the Great American Panel,...

Nashville - Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity has signed on for another tour at the top-ranked news channel.
Financial terms of the multiyear deal were not announced. But it would keep him on "Hannity and Colmes" and "Hannity's America."
It also follows a new radio deal he made with ABC Radio Networks, earlier this year, for a reported $100 million over five years.
"As one of the most prominent conservative minds in the American political landscape, Sean consistently advances the news of the day with insightful and provocative commentary," said Fox News senior vp programming Bill Shine.
"Hannity and Colmes" has been on the air since Sept. 1996 and the top show on cable news in its time period.
