The Most Influential Women in International Film
Image
Let’s be honest: Gender-based lists like THR‘s Most Powerful Women in International Film should be passé by now. It is 2025, after all. But the fight for equity in the global entertainment industry is anything but over. In some places, it’s barely begun. From the backlash against Dei initiatives in the U.S. to a blistering French report exposing systemic abuse across the arts, the message is clear: Progress is under threat. Which is why spotlighting these 45 global power players feels more vital than ever. “We need to fight back with all the tools and resources we have,” says Carole Scotta, co-founder of France’s production outfit Haut et Court. Or, as Nigeria’s EbonyLife CEO Mo Abudu puts it: “Until the industry makes room for authentic voices from different cultures and backgrounds — on a systemic level — we’ll continue to miss out on powerful, transformative storytelling.” In other words,...

Mubi’s May 2025 Lineup Includes Rooney Mara, Amalia Ulman, Latin America at Cannes & More
Image
Mubi’s May 2025 selection has arrived, featuring a Rooney Mara double-bill of perhaps her best film (Carol) and most recent effort (La cocina), Cannes-selected Latin American cinema, and a program curated by Magic Farm‘s Amalia Ulman.

As Kent M. Wllhelm said of Magic Farm in his review, “I was sold on the premise of satirizing opportunistic content creators who play dress-up as journalists, but weaving that into the storylines of the ensemble cast is no easy task for a sophomore feature. The plot gets lost; when it feels like there’s too much going on, nothing gets to shine. There’s nevertheless fun to be had in Magic Farm; importantly, Ulman’s voice and perspective are what stick with you after the credits roll. It’s encouraging to see a young director experiment, venturing into new narrative and stylistic territory.”

Ripe for Rediscovery, James Bidgood’s Ultra-Sexy Queer Classic ‘Pink Narcissus’ Blooms Again in 4K
Image
When film historians speak of the first screenings of Louis Lumière’s “The Arrival of a Train,” they describe the Paris audience flinching in their seats to avoid being struck by the image of a locomotive rushing toward them on screen. The story is almost certainly apocryphal, but it makes me wonder how those who attended the 1971 premiere of James Bidgood’s iconic queer classic “Pink Narcissus” must have reacted to its, er, climactic moment.

A gauzy, softcore reimagining of Disney’s “Fantasia,” with well-endowed (live-action) hustlers in place of dancing cartoon hippos, “Pink Narcissus” unspools like some kind of erotic visual concerto. Ogling his rough-trade star Bobby Kendall, as the muscular young man admires his own ephemeral beauty reflected in countless mirrors, Bidgood stacks one super-saturated sexual fantasy upon another until such point that the film can’t contain itself any longer, erupting directly into the camera — and by extension,...

Wes Anderson Is Up to His Old Tricks in First 'The Phoenician Scheme' Footage at CinemaCon
Image
Wes Anderson is back this summer with The Phoenician Scheme. The first trailer from the indie filmmaker's new espionage thriller debuted at CinemaCon today, and Collider's Britta DeVore is on the scene. The film opens in limited release on May 30, 2025, before opening wide on June 7.

In the new trailer, a man (Benicio del Toro) lies in a cornfield following a plane crash. Barely surviving the accident, he decides that he must choose his successor. That successor will be his daughter, who is somewhat inconveniently a nun. Benedict Cumberbatch pops in with a ridiculous beard while an assassin comes for everything del Toro’s character has built during his lifetime. The trailer is shot in Anderson's now-trademark style, complete with his beloved Futura typeface. The trailer was not released to the public, so you'll just have to rely on our "surveillance report" to get you up to speed until we...

The Controversial Role That Led to Willem Dafoe Being "Uncast" From a Movie
Image
Willem Dafoe opened up about the consequences of his most controversial performance while promoting Nosferatu on The Louis Theroux Podcast — namely, the enigmatic Dafoe found himself dropped from a (then) upcoming film. The veteran Hollywood actor has appeared in almost every genre of film over the course of his 5-year career, from Finding Nemo to Antichrist to the Snyder cut of Justice League, but none were so controversial as The Last Temptation of Christ, Martin Scorsese's 1988 religious epic. Believe it or not, Dafoe was a relatively small-time actor before being cast as Jesus Christ in Scorsese’s adaptation of Nikos Kazantzakis' novel, but the controversy sparked after the film’s release was anything but small.

Willem Dafoe: Antichrist is misunderstood
Willem Dafoe thinks 'Antichrist' is misunderstood by audiences. The 69-year-old actor starred opposite Charlotte Gainsbourg in Lars von Trier's 2009 horror film – which tells the story of a couple grieving after the death of their child and features an infamous genital mutilation scene – and thinks it gets "misidentified" by viewers.Dafoe told 'The Louis Theroux Podcast': "I think it gets misidentified because of some of its extremeness, but I think it really speaks to interesting things about women's power, men's fear of women, the struggle between the logical and the magical in life. There's lots of sexual politics in it, and it's not about misogyny at all."The 'Nosferatu' actor added of Von Trier: "I think he identifies with the women more than the man. I can tell you because I play the straight, logical one in the movie."But I think he's genuinely curious and he's a great filmmaker.

Willem Dafoe Defends Highly Controversial Lars Von Trier Horror Movie 16 Years Later
Image
Willem Dafoe looks back on one of his most controversial movies. Dafoe’s career is known for its exploration of unconventional and thought-provoking roles. From his blockbuster turn as the Green Goblin in Spider-Man to his recent critically acclaimed performance as Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz in Nosferatu, Dafoe has always gravitated toward projects that challenge both him and the audience. His ambition has led him to collaborate with some of the most controversial and innovative filmmakers in cinema, including Danish director Lars von Trier.

Over the years, Dafoe has found himself at the center of some of the most talked-about films in modern cinema, often tackling tragic and divisive subjects. His willingness to take on such roles tends to spark intense discussion about the themes and visuals within the films he’s chosen, especially regarding one film in particular. Recently, Dafoe revisited this infamous horror film, known for its disturbing premise.

Willem Dafoe Thinks Audiences Misunderstood "Mysoginistic" 'Antichrist'
Image
Willem Dafoe believes one of his most controversial films is simply misunderstood. In an interview with The Louis Theroux Podcast, the Nosferatu actor opened up about the legacy of Antichrist, the 2009 film written and directed by Lars von Trier and co-starring Charlotte Gainsbourg.

Dafoe and Gainsbourg play an unnamed couple haunted by the death of their son, who retreat to their cabin in the woods in an attempt to grieve and repair their troubled marriage. The man begins having strange visions, while the woman's behavior becomes increasingly violent and sexual in nature. The film is infamous for one particularly graphic scene involving a delicate part of the human anatomy.

Debate about whether the film is misogynistic or subversively feminist began as soon as Antichrist made its debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Dafoe thinks it's the latter. He told Theroux:

"I think it gets misidentified because of some of its extremeness.

Willem Dafoe: The Nosferatu Vampire-Hunter On A Life In The Shadows
Image
Willem Dafoe is one of the world’s biggest actors — but over five decades on screen, he’s been consistently drawn to oddballs. With his unhinged vampire hunter in Nosferatu about to be unleashed, we speak to him about challenging the norm.

“Chaos reigns,” said the fox.

Lars von Trier’s 2009 drama Antichrist was unforgiving cinema and, as the psychotherapist navigating his wife’s (Charlotte Gainsbourg) overwhelming grief after the death of their young son, Dafoe may have been the only actor capable of taking on its myriad challenges. It made perfect sense that Von Trier would ask him to voice the fox too, uttering those words while eating itself alive.

On screen, Dafoe has never been far from chaos. His first film appearance, in 1980, was in Michael Cimino’s notoriously catastrophic Heaven’s Gate; Dafoe was fired for laughing at a joke on set. He was Oscar-nominated for playing Sgt Elias in 1986’s Platoon,...

Amy Adams, Jessica Harper, Kerry O'Malley, Scoot McNairy, Ella Thomas, Zoë Chao, and Mary Holland in Nightbitch (2024)
Nightbitch - Andrew Robertson - 19431
Amy Adams, Jessica Harper, Kerry O'Malley, Scoot McNairy, Ella Thomas, Zoë Chao, and Mary Holland in Nightbitch (2024)
Nightbitch's surreal exploration of the wildness of motherhood and identity within patriarchy draws from the same traditions as works like The Substance and Dead Ringers and We Need To Talk About Kevin and Antichrist. If any of those strike as odd comparisons be aware that they are apt because Nightbitch is of an ilk that is off-kilter. It is unreliable and unstable. It is visceral and dark. It is taxidermy and what I think are freezer potato pancakes.

She is credited only as 'Mother' but Amy Adams is more than that. He is credited only as 'Husband' and Scoot McNairy's role is very carefully that, not father or partner or lover or another of what should be overlapping sets. Twins Arleigh Patrick and Emmet James Snowden are credited as 'Son' and while it's common to be played by pairs because of things like working time, it's also possible.

“He put the hit out that got Pac killed”: Eminem Blamed P. Diddy For 2Pac’s Death in His Diss Track Before Clarifying He Was Just Playing
Image
Eminem has never hesitated to call out some of the biggest celebrities in his raps. However, Sean Combs aka P. Diddy has been a recurring subject of his fiery verses for over two decades. But Slim Shady shook the music industry when he linked Combs to the controversial death of 2Pac in his 2018 track Killshot.

Eminem in 8 Mile | Credits: Universal Pictures

In the 90s, the world of rap was undergoing a disturbing time as the East Coast-West Coast feud was at its peak with Sean Combs and Suge Knight leading the two fronts. The violent atmosphere ultimately led to the two tragic deaths of 2Pac and The Notorious B.I.G.

Multiple theories and reports have linked the controversial death of Tupac Shakur aka 2Pac to P. Diddy. The rumors gained more weight when 2Pac’s accused killer Duane “Keefe D” Davis also asserted that Diddy allegedly put a...

Isabelle Huppert on Her Rumored Feud with James Gray and Why Nicole Kidman Won Venice for ‘Babygirl’
Image
Watching “Babygirl” at the Venice Film Festival, I thought, “Isabelle Huppert is going to like this.” Here is a provocative movie, directed by Halina Reijn, starring Nicole Kidman as a corporate CEO engaging in kink and sexually submitting herself to a younger intern (Harris Dickinson). Kidman’s Romy cuts a powerful silhouette in the office by day, but by night, she’s on all fours being dominated in increasingly adventurous sexual encounters.

With Huppert as jury president, it was no surprise when Kidman won Best Actress, as Huppert famously stars in the darkly perverse “The Piano Teacher,” a movie Reijn’s script is surely in deep conversation with. In the 2001 Michael Haneke film, Huppert played a stoic music instructor who becomes sexually overpowered by a younger pupil. I went into “Babygirl” expecting the American version of “The Piano Teacher,” though Reijn’s film is more buoyantly sex-positive than sinisterly Freudian.

One notable film in his diverse career is Antichrist, released in 2009. Directed by Lars von Trier, this horror art film stars Dafoe alongside Charlotte Gainsbourg. Eminem Calls Out Sean “Diddy” Combs, Alec Baldwin in New Song “Fuel”
Image
Eminem released his 12th album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) on Friday, and as per usual, made it a point to call out people of the times including Sean “Diddy” Combs and Alec Baldwin.

On the LP’s ninth track, “Fuel,” the Grammy-winning artist and fellow rapper J.I.D make it a point to address some of the biggest stories in culture today: the several sexual assault allegations against Combs and the tragic death of Halyna Hutchins on the Rust set when a revolver that star Alec Baldwin was handling went off.

In Eminem’s second verse of the song, he raps: “I’m like a R-a-p-e-r (Yeah) / Got so many S-As (S-As), S-As (Huh) / Wait, he didn’t just spell the word, ‘Rapper’ and leave out a P, did he? (Yep).” When rapped, the lyrics “P, did he?” clearly sound like “P. Diddy.”

As the verse continues,...

Eminem is facing backlash on social media over a new track where he refers to Alec Baldwin’s Rust shooting, where cinematographer Halyna Hutchins lost her life.

“Clutchin’ the nine millimeter, tuckin’ the heat / Got the toaster like an English muffin / No, I mean, “Toast to” like you drink to somethin’ But it’s in a holster, I proceed to bust it,” Eminem raps. “F*** around and get popped like Halyna Hutchins / Like I’m Alec Baldwin, what I mean is buckin’ you down, coup de grâce then / Right between the fuckin’ / I shoot ’em all in if you think you’re fuckin’ with me.”

“Why he’s so obsessed with Megan”: Eminem Using Nicki Minaj- Megan Thee Stallion’s Ugly Beef For His Advantage Backfires as Fans Slam His New Lyrics

After a prolonged wait, The Death of Slim Shady has finally hit the radio, and it’s safe to say that it lives up to fans’ expectations of the potential swansong of Slim Shady. Set to serve as a goodbye to Eminem’s breakout character, the acclaimed rapper hasn’t held back with it, especially with some of the darker songs in the tracklist, such as Antichrist.

It’s not uncommon for the Rap God artist to take digs at viral sensations, whether it be Michael Jackson or Britney Spears back in the day. And with Antichrist, The Marshall Mathers LP artist took shots at Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion’s ugly beef, which hasn’t sat well with everyone.

Denmark’s Filmmaking Enfant Terrible, Lars von Trier, Earns Career Retrospective in Korea
Image
Famously press shy, but often going an extra mile in order to shock, Danish filmmaker Lars von Trier has been a mischievous and frustrating spirit who tormented arthouse audiences as much as he teased them. But the provocateur-in-chief is now too established to still be considered an enfant terrible.

Von Trier’s 40 years in the film business are now to be celebrated by South Korea’s leading cinema chain Cj-cgv in a two-week retrospective that kicks off on July 10.

The multiplex giant is dedicating 15 of its art-house screens nationwide to playing 12 von Trier titles, including his debut feature, 1984-release “The Elements of Crime.” The film was part of his so-called “trauma trilogy” and was followed by “Epidemic” and “Europa.”

The showcase will continue with his 1996 Cannes Grand Jury prize-winner “Breaking the Waves” and “Idiots,” an emblem of his Dogma 95 back-to-basics filmmaking manifesto, and “Dancer in the Dark,” which won von...

10 Best Movies With Surprisingly Small Casts
Image
While some movies bet on overlapping storylines featuring ensemble casts or numerous supporting casts, others are able to create powerful narratives with surprisingly small casts. The minimal cast movies are often able to make two characters form a deep bond or conflict throughout the feature film, since they share all or most of the scenes. Whether they are thrillers, dramas or comedies, the best movies with two to five characters in total excel at establishing intense dynamics between the protagonists.

It's common for movies with small casts to also minimize the setting to one room, house or area. They also tend to limit the narrative to one central concept, which is explored in depth through the dialogue and action. Films like 10 Cloverfield Lane and Gravity make the most of these themes by thoroughly exploring their minimalist themes, proving that large ensemble casts are far from necessary for creating a successful film.

Lars von Trier’s ‘Antichrist’ Explores the Nature of Feminine Evil [The Lady Killers Podcast]
Lars von Trier in Melancholia (2011)
“A crying woman is a scheming woman.”

Women are supposed to be natural caregivers. Once we become mothers, we’re expected to put aside our own physical pleasures and dedicate our lives to protecting our young. But what of the mothers who can’t keep their children alive? The women who fail in the one job they were made to fulfill? Even worse, what if this death is an act of neglect? Rather than hover and dote, what if a mother indulges her own physical pleasure at the cost of her child? Would we call that woman evil? Would we call her a witch? Lars von Trier reckons with the expectations we place on women in his controversial film Antichrist. By exploring the natural urges of a grieving mother, he interrogates the patriarchal construction of evil itself.

She (Charlotte Gainsbourg) and He (Willem Dafoe) are a married couple enjoying domestic...

One Watch Wonders: Civil War and Other Great Movies You Only Want to Watch Once
Image
Civil War is an extremely powerful, effective movie that thrusts you into the middle of an American civil war seen through the eyes of a war photographer. It’s brutal. It’s extraordinarily violent. The sound design is bordering on abusive. And if you watch it in IMAX you can reasonably expect to leave the theater with more than a little motion sickness. It is, however, excellent, with great performances from Kirsten Dunst as the older, jaded photographer and Cailee Spaeny as the reckless youngster new to the game. So see it. But we’d be very surprised if you decide to rush back for a second viewing.

Here’s our celebration of the wonderful, must-see movies where once is quite enough, thank you very much.

Hereditary

To no one’s surprise, Ari Aster’s harrowing debut immediately makes the top of this list. You might think the early, shocking...

Conor McGregor Brags That He’s the Highest-Paid First-Time Action Star. Dwayne Johnson May Beg to Differ.

Conor McGregor vs. Dwayne Johnson: Who Cashed the Bigger Check?

Did Conor McGregor really set a world record with his Road House payday? That’s what the onetime UFC superstar has been bragging about in recent weeks, claiming he’s now “the highest paid first-time actor of all time.” If true — and McGregor, 35, hasn’t disclosed how much he got for his debut role in Amazon’s reboot of the 1989 kickboxing flick — he would beat Dwayne Johnson’s record of $5.5 million for 2002’s Scorpion King. While some have scoffed at his claim, sources indicate he was indeed paid in that ballpark, and given the Irishman’s stature in the martial arts world and the offers he has turned down (he accepted a role opposite Vin Diesel in 2017’s xXx: Return of Xander Cage, only to back out before filming began) it wouldn’t be surprising if some sort of record was broken.

Del Water Gap and Holly Humberstone Are So Close But So Far Away on ‘Cigarettes & Wine’
Image
Whoever first said that distance makes the heart grow fonder might have been onto something. Singer-songwriters Del Water Gap and Holly Humberstone have experienced first-hand the gravitational pull of oceans separating them from the people they want to be closest to — and they poured those memories into their latest single “Cigarettes & Wine.”

“‘Cigarettes & Wine’ is an ode to a transatlantic long-distance relationship,” Del Water Gap shared in a statement. “It’s about finally getting to catch a moment with the person you’ve been missing the most, and the threads...

Willem Dafoe’s Best Performances: ‘Spider-Man,’ ‘The Lighthouse,’ ‘Platoon,’ and More
Image
Willem Dafoe has a face made for film. When the sixty-something actor appears on screen, his prominent cheekbones, wide eyes, and toothy grin are difficult to take your gaze off. Combined with his slender frame and his raspy, gravely, deep voice, the actor’s portrayal of Jesus Christ allegedly prompted Sergio Leone to opine “This is not the face of our Lord, this is the face of Satan!”

Dafoe hasn’t played Satan at all over the course of his career, but he’s certainly played his share of villains, bringing his signature menace to dozens of cinematic crooks and psychopaths. After his first lead role, in Kathryn Bigelow’s 1982 biker drama “The Loveless,” his early parts were largely antagonists to the lead heroes, such as the alluring but frightening criminals in “Streets of Fire” and “To Live and Die in L.A.” The part that arguably brought him the most widespread,...

Willem Dafoe Explains How 40 Years of Playing Gods and Monsters Primed Him for ‘Poor Things’
Image
When Willem Dafoe receives his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Jan. 8, the distinction will commemorate more than just a four-time Oscar nominee, but an actor so versatile that he has embodied everything from a conflicted messiah in “The Last Temptation of Christ” to the tortured father figure of “Antichrist.” Is there an actor working today with greater range?

With his deep-set eyes, sharp nose and broad smile, Dafoe has depicted his share of devils, from creepy “Nosferatu” star Max Schreck in “Shadow of the Vampire” to comic-book villain the Green Goblin in “Spider-Man 2.” But he also excels at the other end of the spectrum, as when he plays God in Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Poor Things,” a Frankensteinian surgeon charitably committed to reanimating dead creatures, like Emma Stone’s Bella.

“My character has this beautiful predicament, because he adores her so much and she adores him, but what she needs,...

10 Great Movies Recommended by Lars von Trier
Image
Lars von Trier is one of the most controversial directors currently working. Depending on your point of view, he's either a provocateur with bad taste or a genius who defies all conventions. He specializes in challenging narratives that shatter taboos, like the sexual horror Antichrist and the darkly erotic Nymphomaniac. While these films are often shocking, there's no denying their beautiful cinematography and amazing performances.

Charlotte Gainsbourg To Replace Camille Cottin In Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino’s Prime Video Series ‘Étoile’
Image
Charlotte Gainsbourg is joining Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino’s Prime Video series Étoile to replace Camille Cottin, who has dropped out over scheduling conflicts.

Actress, singer and songwriter Gainbourg will join the likes of Luke Kirby (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Gideon Glick, Simon Callow (Outlander), Lou de Laâge (The Innocents), and David Alvarez (West Side Story) in the drama series.

Set in New York City and Paris, the eight-episode Étoile follows the dancers and artistic staff of two world-renowned ballet companies, as they embark on an ambitious gambit to save their storied institutions by swapping their most talented stars.

In April, the show was given a two-season order, at which point Call My Agent!, Golda and House of Gucci star Cottin was named among its leads.

Gainsbourg recently led Prime Video’s Alphonse opposite Jean Dujardin...

‘Parents’ Is the Middling ’80s Cannibalism Classic Worth Reheating — Again and Again
Image
On Friday nights, IndieWire After Dark takes a feature-length beat to honor fringe cinema in the streaming age.

First, the spoiler-free pitch for one editor’s midnight movie pick — something weird and wonderful from any age of film that deserves our memorializing.

Then, the spoiler-filled aftermath as experienced by the unwitting editor attacked by this week’s recommendation.

The Pitch: Is That a Meat Cleaver in Your Pocket — or Are My Parents Just Happy to See Me?

“What were they before they were leftovers?” That’s the dramatic meat hook on which Bob Balaban hangs his giddily middling 1989 horror comedy “Parents,” a surrealist satire set in 1950s suburbia, best likened to a chunky jello mold filled with human toes. I’ll admit, I wouldn’t serve cannibalism cinema this underbaked to mixed company; let alone the hubby’s new boss and his one-scene-having wife. But for the IndieWire After Dark family during ’80s Week,...

Holly Humberstone’s Honest Truth
Image
Holly Humberstone is pretty sure her childhood home is haunted.

Sitting in an average-sized hotel room in New York’s Gramercy neighborhood, the 23-year-old songwriter gets excited discussing the home she grew up in, which is 3,000 miles away in Grantham, England. “There’s this huge basement and just spiders and frogs down there,” Humberstone says. “There’s this whole grim room in the cellar that has meat hooks and then gutters so all the blood can run.”

Humberstone and her three sisters let their imaginations run wild in the old...

Lars von Trier Shares ‘Ad’ Seeking ‘Girlfriend/Muse’ for His Next Work: I Have ‘a Few Decent Films Left in Me’
Image
“Nymphomaniac” director Lars von Trier is seeking a “muse” for his next films.

The “Melancholia” helmer shared a personal ad by way of Instagram video to request “enquiries” from applicants to be his next girlfriend be directed to an email address he provided. Von Trier was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in August 2022 and announced he would be taking a break due to his health.

“I don’t know what I’ve dragged myself into this time,” von Trier said in a video uploaded August 15. “So before I drown myself in smug advertising, let me make a few things clear: I’m 67 years old. I have Parkinson’s disease, Ocd, and at the moment, controlled alcoholism. In short, with some luck, I should have a few decent films left in me.”

He continued, “All this is as suggested meant as an old-school contact ad, where I, without knowing the least about social media,...

10 Most Iconic Cabin Horror Movies
Image
Summer is the perfect time for a nice vacation to escape the horrors of daily life with a little rest and relaxation. While staying at a fancy resort on the beach or sailing the seas on a cruise ship may have the most interest from vacationers this time of year, there is something so appealing about embracing wilderness by renting a little cabin near the woods or staying at a family member's lake house. Not only does it provide a quiet respite from the loudness of life, but it is also the perfect setting to snuggle up and start watching a horror movie.

Horror movies that feature a cabin getaway as part of their scary story may follow that similar path of traveling into the woods toward horrors unknown. But each one provides its own unique experience, keeping the genre alive and thriving -- unlike the characters in these types of movies.

‘Good Omens’ Season 2 Review: Just As Delightful And Even More Stimulating
Image
As someone who thoroughly enjoyed the first season of Good Omens without having any knowledge about the book it is based on by Neil Gaiman-Terry Pratchett or religious history, I thoroughly enjoyed this show about a bickering angel and demon. If you haven’t seen or heard about this show before, I blame Prime for not showing enough interest in marketing this hilarious masterclass in religious satire.

Season one was fantastic from start to finish, and we got introduced to Crowley and Aziraphale, the demon and angel that find that they’re a perfect match on Earth. Without spoilers, there’s a particular problem that these two take upon themselves to solve, and by the end of season 1, they do so. So, the second season begins on a completely new note. This time around, we learn more about the relationship between this not-so-evil demon and this not-so-good angel...
