The case itself makes one crawl a bit. Those parents and thousands like them wake up each day having deal with such a child. To have someone seriously ill and unable to communicate what is wrong, only go into violent convulsions of anger, would be so hard. A well portrayed reality. When the disease goes away, he is still back to square one.

- TriviaIn trying to get rid of Ali, House quotes virtually verbatim Rick Blaine's farewell speech to Ilsa Lund in "Casablanca".
- GoofsThe side plot involves House being seduced by a 17 year old stalker. Repeatedly through the episode it is mentioned that she is under aged. However, the age of consent in New Jersey is 16. The character herself indicates that the age of consent in Iceland is 14 to try and convince House that it would be OK to have sex with her, it's odd that she would know the age of consent in Iceland but not the state she lives in.
