Trivia
Although Tamás Almási graduated as a feature film director (Hungarian Film Academy, 1979), this is only his second feature film. His first one was the acclaimed Ballagás (1981). In the meantime, Almási became the most famous documentary director in Hungary.

Goofs
The story takes place in the early 1990s, soon after the transition from communism to capitalist democracy in Hungary. One of the characters is nicknamed "Tamagotchi", however the Tamagotchi "digital pet" game only came out in 1996 in Japan and in 1997 in the rest of the world.
