    Power shortage

What is up with the lack of lighting at the hospital?! Almost every shot has the overhead lighting turned off. House's malpractice payments must be taken out of the electrical utility budget.

And this review evidently needs more characters to be posted, so here we are. Waiting around for the minimum counter to hit 600. The good thing is that we're currently at 236 so there's not too much more to do.

I guess I could share that this is the 3rd time I'm watching the series. It's definitely one of my top 5 favs. The way the writers developed all of the characters over the years is a thing of beauty.

    The Golden Girl

I guess once one buys into the Modus Operandi you can accept this episode. We have the young couple engaged in violent sex play at the beginning, and the husband begins gasping along with other symptoms. The wife calls 911 and we're off to see House. Of course, like every other episode, one begins to look for some exotic cause for what is going on. The devoted wife never leaves the guy's side.

House suspects all along that something is amiss because they seem like such an in-tune couple, despite their crazy activities, including occasional threesomes. Anyway, the result, for me, was a bit too much.

    • Goofs
House, while making the case that the patient's wife is poisoning him, says that she hasn't left the hospital since the two of them arrived. Actually, she has left the hospital at least once; she was there when Foreman was in her house.

Maria Palko: Marriages don't fail because couples get bored. They fail because, while they're dating, people pretend to be the person they think their partner wants and then - well, there's only so long you can keep that up.

Dr. Allison Cameron: Maybe they are that person while they're dating, but then they change.

Maria Palko: People thinking their partner will change? That's another reason marriages fail. People don't change. At least not in any way that really matters.
