Alternate versions

In the original French language version, after the fox jumps out the window, there is an additional 5 seconds of the girl examining and picking up the fox. In the English language version, after she runs downstairs and gasps, it immediately cuts to a shot of her carrying the fox.

Original French language version includes a 2 minute scene at the end of the movie where the narrator is seen telling the story to a young boy, presumably her son. This scene is removed from the English language version, although much of the dialogue is included in the final part of the English narration.
