- TriviaWhen Rogue is sitting on the airplane's wing on her way to Muir Island, a man spots her, panics, and flags down a stewardess. In turn she laughs and walks away in disbelief. This is a reference to the infamous The Twilight Zone (1959) episode Nightmare at 20,000 Feet (1963) starring William Shatner.
- GoofsWhen Warren Worthington (Angel) is introduced, he has no connection to Xavier or the X-Men. It's even demonstrated that Cyclops and Professor X don't know who he is. In "Proteus: Part I" and other episodes throughout the series, flashbacks showing the first X-Men include one with big angelic wings on his shoulders. This same winged X-Man shows up in "Xavier Remembers" in a way that confirms he is Angel. Specifically, Xavier has a dream sequence where he sees the X-Men of past and present wearing their original costumes, then sees them transform into their current costumes. One of them is original X-Men uniform Angel, who transforms into Archangel.

Another Case of a Rushed Story
There's an interesting story here. Rogue's conflict between having her potentially useful powers or being "normal" and able to get close to other people. The idea of a mutant cure. The idea of mutant slaves. Many many new characters.
Unfortunately they try to shove all of these concepts into 20 minutes of runtime. That's basically impossible. It all feels too rushed and we don't get to know these new characters properly or understand their motivations or place in the show.
