- TriviaBobbie tells Steve that CBS was the first network to report on the Alien Invasion. CBS was the network which aired Wonder Woman at the time. This may also be a reference to the Orson Welles Radio Drama War Of The Worlds, which featured dramatized news reports of a fictional Alien Invasion and broadcast on CBS Radio.
- GoofsWhen Wonder Woman drives up to the town square where the TV reporter is broadcasting from his remote truck, the side of the truck reads "Pittsburg." However, the correct spelling of the the Pennsylvania city has an "h" at the end, "Pittsburgh."

Mason Steele: I dare say you won't have to listen to this one very long.

The aliens are coming! One of the better final "Wonder Woman" episodes!
"The Starships Are Coming" episode number 15 from season 3 which first aired on Feb. 2, 1979 was one of the better late one's as it was entertaining with action, drama, and fun suspense that involved the plot of an "UFO" invasion. A small Pennsylvania town has had a rash of recent flying object sightings and things get stranger when a young man is abducted by aliens and a new news transmitting station is going wild. Send Diana to investigate and she finds out some crazy weird stuff as to the real reason behind these encounters. It involves a missile site and hidden transmitter site. Also very memorable was Diana being kidnapped and abducted by the group behind all of the drama(as Lynda again for the third time in season 3 is tied up and gagged this time again with a black gag and her damsel in distress scene is memorable with her trying to talk thru the gag before being rescued!) The plot is uncovered and revealed overall well done and a very memorable better episode of "The Wonder Woman" series.
