- Once again, Danny is in trouble when a newspaper photograph showing him carrying a half-open case with a statuette of a bronze Reichsadler, the German Imperial Eagle and symbol of the Nazi Party, will attract ex-Nazi, fanatical Count Marceau's attention who desperately wants it. In the meantime, Danny's old acquaintance, recently married Suzy Wager, daughter of the infamous Marquis de Vilaines or The Great Traitor, is also greatly interested in finding the same artefact which believes it contains concrete evidence that would clear her late father's name, who thanks to Count Marceau, died disgraced. However, the precious statuette is now in the hands of the unscrupulous Denton who wants to trade it for money, while Marceau's assassins put Danny's life in grave danger.—Nick Riganas
