(Spoilers ** ) Oscar wins golden earrings in a poker game... unfortunately, that's the name of a racing greyhound. They bring him home to try to make him more comfortable, and hijinx follows. Felix tries to fatten him up, while Oscar wants to make some money off the racing. Oscar sneaks him out to the races while Felix just wants to find them and save them from themselves. Felix and Oscar team up to try to make Golden Earrings a winner. Appearance by character actor Phil Leeds, who viewers will recognize from early guest spots on Dick van Dyke Show, Barney Miller, and Don't Drink the Water. Also watch for the kennel owner, (Buddy Lester), who appeared in films with the Brat Pack. Episode directed by Hal Cooper, who directed several episodes of just about every TV series ever made during the 1960s - 1980s.
