- Harm and Mac square off over a Marine general who spoke about the War on Terror and equated the God of Islam with Satan. Sturgis must deal with the complaint of anti-Korean bias against him from "Close Quarters". Bud successfully gets the complaint against Sturgis dropped and regains the level of friendship and professional trust lost in the earlier case.
- Cmdr. Turner defends himself against the complaint filed against him for displaying anti-Korean attitudes when assigned to deal with the SARS outbreak earlier. Harm and Mac go up against one another in the case of a Marine General making public speeches stating Islam goes hand-in-hand with evil and terrorism.
- Harm and Mac square off In the courtroom when a Marine General is accused of making racist remarks about Islam during a church service. The comments were initially made in a sermon given by the General a few days after 9/11 at a military chapel. He was later a guest speaker at a civilian church and reinforced those views. The charges were brought to light at a press conference where the General was being announced as a new liaison to the Iraqi military. A civilian reporter who had heard the general's speech thanks to a tip from a Muslim subordinate questioned the move.
In a previous episode, racism charges were filed against Sturgis by a Lieutenant of Korean ancestry. Due to heavy workload, the investigation is now given by Admiral Chegwidden to Lieutenant Roberts. Having been a subject of Roberts' opinions before, Sturgis is concerned with the outcome.
Petty Officer Coates is confronted by the JAG staff concerning the Admiral's marital plans.
