Rose tells Blanche and Dorothy that she is adopted, and that she believes Bob Hope is her biological father. She says, "Gunther and Alma Nylund were my adoptive parents." Nylund is Rose's married name, her maiden name is Lindstrom. In Blanche and the Younger Man (1985) Rose's adoptive mother Alma Lindstrom appears, and in Once in St. Olaf (1990) Rose states that she was left on the doorstep of the Lindstroms as a baby.
After Bob Hope exits the box and starts his monologue, the box remains open. They cut to the girls, then cut back to Bob, the box is closed while he is telling the "God is a Dem?" joke. Then cut to the girls, then back to Bob the box is open again.
After the Donatello triplets leave the audition, they go from the stage to the door behind Sophia in an impossibly short time.
Rose mentions that she wishes she were back home. When Dorothy asks her why, Rose states that it would be lunch time. Minnesota is actually one hour behind Florida, but Rose could have calculated this and said it at the right time.
In multiple episodes Rose says that her maiden name is Lindstrom, including an episode where her adoptive mother visits and is referred to as "Mrs. Lindstrom". However, in the episode where Rose reveals that she is an orphan she says that her adopted parents last name is "Nylund". This does not fit as her husband was "Charlie Nylund". So, unless she married someone in her family, her adopted parents could not be "Nylund".
During auditions, the juggler implies that his brother and he are of Polish extraction ("my brother is still in Poland"). However, he introduces himself as 'Misha', which is a Russian-only short form of 'Mikhail' ('Michael').
