The episode that truly makes Chandler stand out.

Chandler has always the most caring one among Friends but his image is more sarcastic than caring. This episode is showing Chandler's love for Monica and his thoughtful considering for the baby's real mother. It is an episode that makes you fall in love with Chandler. Worth a watch closely.

    happy tears!!

I have watched this episode more than a 100 times and ended up crying the same number of times. this has got to be the golden moment of the show.

    80/20 bad to good

    Monica annoying

    Joey...eh. Fine enough.

Ross...they could have done something else or more with that story line. Instantly over just like that?

Jim Ohair makes an appearance. Always fun to see him in stuff.

Anna Farris...I'm Still on the fence with her.

She's not toally annoying...but she's also not totally not annoying.

I may have watched 5 minutes of her sitcom Mom...and that was too much.

A typical later episode of Friends. How much stuff are you willing to put up with and suffer with/through in order to get a small payback?

I'd have to give this a 5. You'll chuckle here and there...but gotta put up with the rain to get a little rainbow.

You know what philosopher said that?

    Dolly Parton.

And people think she's just a big pair of...

    • Trivia
The sub plot where Joey ends up eating his date's dessert is a follow up to something that happened in season seven's "The One with the Cheap Wedding Dress". There Ross and Joey kept mentioning embarrassing things they have done over the years. Ross asks Joey about a time he ate his date's food and Joey's date realizes that Joey must have eaten her crab cake when she went to the restroom, a situation not unlike the one in this episode.
    • Goofs
When Rachel and Ross mix-up their bags after shopping, Ross mistakenly wears Rachel's shirt, thinking it is one that she picked out for him. However, it fits him perfectly and is obviously not in Rachel's size.

[to the woman whose baby Chandler and Monica want to adopt]

Chandler: My wife's an incredible woman. She's loving and devoted and caring. And don't tell her I said this, but the woman's always right... I love my wife more than anything in this world. And I... it kills me that I can't give her a baby... I really want a kid. And when that day finally comes, I'll learn how to be a good dad. But my wife... she's already there. She's a mother... without a baby... Please?
