Personal problems for Ash.
Sleepin_Dragon6 July 2023
Ash is tasked with dealing with a new kind of fuse, his new role brings him back into contact with two faces from his past.

It is yet another very good, high standard episode from this quality series.

A little bit different this one, the usual format is largely absent, Ash is on hand more so in an advisory role, his team do get to work, but very late on.

Great to see Gillespie and Susan back, their very presence makes it a very personal story for Ash, who now has to deal with a potential new love interest, and one from his past.

It makes you wonder how many people did have to let bygones be bygones for the sake of The War effort, it must have thrown so many people together that would sooner not have been.

Two performances stood out for me, Deborah Grant and Tim Pigot-Smith. Winthrop is the greatest geek we've seen so far on the show.

8/10.

Straightforward

A fairly straightforward episode, this one, with a new setting for a bomb making it feel fairly fresh and interesting. I'm not sure about Judy Geeson's return at this point, but we'll see where it goes.
