The episode opens in very dramatic fashion as a body comes suddenly crashing down on a young couple's windshield. Apparently she had been killed and thrown off an overpass onto the street. She was a dancer, it is surmised, and that's the main clue to find out who murdered her. That, and a winning Lotto ticket. Mac, Stella and Eddie all combine to work on this case.
The second story begins when Danny and Sheldon are called to an alleyway and find a dead smelly (fish odor) body that has a big bullet hole through the man's chest. It turns out the hole has been made by a swordfish impaling the man. This part was the most interesting of the three cases.
A third story, over 16 minutes into the episode, occurs when Lindsay is assigned to find out why a tram operator died. That death winds up related to the dancer and has so many twists and turns it would make your head spin.
In truth, this whole episode is a bunch of ups, downs, suspects, twists and turns.
