- TriviaIn this episode it is incidentally revealed that the Systems Commonwealth has been firmly reestablished, and has an extensive military and judicial bureaucracy, impartial enough to arrest even its re-founder if there is clear evidence of his guilt. This fulfills the original purpose of the series.
- GoofsWhen Harper plays back Zeus's message on the Maru, the IBM logo can clearly be seen on the monitor.
- Quotes
Abelard: Does this have to be dressed up in such high drama? God, no wonder the theatre's dead.
Seamus Harper: You haven't met Tyr. I've got an idea, boss. Why don't we take a fake? I could whip one up in...
Captain Dylan Hunt: Harper, you're staying here.
Seamus Harper: What? But I-all right. They also serve, those who stand and wait.
This episode is solid if not one of the most memorable; having Dylan on the run while looking for near mystical artefacts make it feel as if the writers had tried to combine the basic plots of 'The Fugitive' with 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'... perhaps the writers are Harrison Ford fans. The story provides a couple of decent villains and some exciting moments. When Harper is more of a background character he can be a bit irritating but when given a more important part of the story, as he is here, he proves to be quite fun as he gets stuck in to fights alongside Dylan. On the down side one has to wonder why Dylan, who has been campaigning for a New Commonwealth from day one, runs rather than trust the fledgling Commonwealth's legal systems... somethings just have to be put down to dramatic license if you are to enjoy the episode. I did rather like how the story ended as it featured a nice little twist that wasn't too obvious. Overall a fun, if not a classic, episode.
