SITGES, Spain -- Following on the critical success of their first joint venture, The Ungodly at Sitges' International Film Festival of Catalonia, Barcelona-based Zip Films and Los Angeles' Dream 7 Entertainment signed a co-production alliance that sees the two put out up to four English-language films over the next two years. Speaking on the day after the press screening of Thomas Dunn's thriller The Ungodly, which was deemed a "jewel" by local media, Zip general manager Jordi Rediu said the two companies would continue their combined efforts. "We share the same perspective on how to make films," Rediu said. "We're both looking to make English-language films with for a worldwide audience and our final objectives match." The first two projects under the new agreement have been approved. The first is Two, a drama based on an Isaac B. Singer story and the other is Dunn's second genre feature film.
