A man on a fire escape is shot, he falls to the ground with a thud (nearly landing on a woman) and we see some blood on his chest.

There's a long and intense car chase, in which several men shoot guns at Chev and his girlfriend as they drive. Windows are shot out, and there's lots of chaos. Chev shoots a tire and the car violently crashes into the back of a parked car and flips over. Chev continues firing and another car crashes into a fence. He walks up to the crashed car and shoots the driver dead, offscreen.

The film has a lot a dark, strong language, torture, graphic violence, mature sexual themes, drug use and brutal violent scenes. Not for kids, completely grown up movie.

The movie's premise makes it intense by nature, but barring the sewing machine scene, the violence is stylized and rather unrealistic.

Some may find the end shootout intense, as it's probably the bloodiest part of the film.
