While not the worst Asylum movie, it still a bad one. The story is similar to the other mummy movies out there and this one doesn't do anything new with it. Even the mummies don't show up until at the climax of the movie. The movie mostly spend time of the group which isn't interesting at all and is rather bland. Aneh-Tet first show up naked and acts like a slasher villain throughout the movie. It's not that enjoyable to watch due to the pacing is being off with scenes that happen pretty quickly or feel like filler. The characters themselves are boring and unlikable throughout the movie. And the acting itself is stiff and bad. As like many Asylum movies, the effects looks pretty bad with practical effects looks cheap and the CGI looks awful. Although the mummies looks alright with the outfit, but the faces looks like a mask.
Legion of the Dead is what you expect from a Asylum and is not worth it.
