Agent Recon: Chuck Norris makes a triumphant return in a new action sci-fi film
Image
There is a Chuck Norris joke that says, “Chuck Norris doesn’t sleep. He waits.” Well, Norris is no longer waiting. The Karate champion-turned-action star-turned-meme would make his last outing in a bonafide starring role in 2005’s The Cutter. He would since make appearances in tongue-in-cheek cameos capitalizing on his meme fame. Even his brief appearance in 2012’s The Expendables 2 would feature him making a Chuck Norris joke. At 83 years old, it’s not a bad way to continue a career in entertainment. However, Norris is not quite ready to hang up his action fatigues.

Deadline now reports that Chuck Norris is set to make a triumphant return in an action and sci-fi film titled Agent Recon. The film has been completed from Quiver Distribution, and the American Film Market is underway with film sales, which will include this film from Millennium Media. The military action film is also...

Lzzy Hale Joins Gwar Onstage in New York City: Watch
Image
Lzzy Hale made a cameo during Gwar’s set at the Palladium Times Square in New York City on October 13th for a performance of their collaborative track “The Cutter.”

The Halestorm frontwoman reprised her role as her Scumdog alter-ego Clitaurus Maximus from Gwar’s 2022 album The New Dark Ages, on which she sang a duet with Blöthar the Berserker on “The Cutter.”

For the NYC rendition of the tune, Hale came out in the appropriate garb, donning battle armor and wielding a giant sword. From there, she stole the show as Clitaurus Maximus, singing centerstage while hoisting her blade, power-metal style.

Gwar took to social media to sing her praises following the show.

“We are not easily impressed,” the band wrote on Facebook, “but the mighty Lzzy Hale aka Clitaurus Maximus making an appearance for ‘The Cutter’ at our show in NYC was almost as satisfying as making your...

Chuck Norris Gets in on The Expendables 2 Set Image Fun
If you were one of those people suspicious about reports that Chuck Norris had come out of retirement and was joining the cast of “The Expendables 2″, I don’t blame ya. When was the last time Norris did a movie? IMDb.com says it’s been six long years, since he did “The Cutter” in 2005, and who even saw that movie? Exactly. But yes, Chuck Norris really is in “The Expendables 2″, joining muscleheads Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jet Li, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, and Scott Adkins. Here’s photographic proof, with Norris on the set with Terry Crews and Dolph Lundgren, and a bunch of other people who I don’t know. Simon West directs the sure-to-be explosion spectacular (replacing Stallone, who’ll only star in the sequel), messing up your theaters August 17, 2012. Thanks to Mike for the heads...
