One of the best films of Roger Fratter

Warning: Spoilers
I certainly could not miss this latest film by indie filmmaker Roger Fratter Italian, famous in the canonical way to turn and conform a certain kind of cinema, products that are inspired by everything that was produced the golden age of Italian cinema of the past and the same time unclassifiable and atypical products. After viewing this film it literally "in love" with this film, the title "love of death" as it may seem trivial ... in reality it is not. The good Fratter according to my humble opinion with this sixth film touches the highest peak of his career, managing to break away from the appointment of director of films "trash" to finally start at a certain professionalism and much sought after demand by the public that as we know, very often it is demanding. First, the film is shot on film (and you notice!), Very pleasing to the eye as it crisper and cleaner than the previous films who were on a amateur and skinny cut. It is clear that the director during the making of this film possessed a higher budget and could indulge in trying to achieve a quality product, and I have to admit that he succeeded, even inserting the smart-citations that the fans of the director surely they will not escape. There's really not much to say about this movie but I will not spoil the surprise for those who will be challenged to watch it, so I will write only the essential. Let's start with the plot that sees two Sarah and Martina many different sisters to each other but united at the same time by a mysterious combination, the viewer will follow so their story from beginning to end in suspense, a successful horror / thriller mix where the supernatural it is the setting for this story from the dark flavor. The final however, it will leave question marks, typical of Fratter cinematography that gives the viewer as always a personal interpretation. It must be said that the DVD version I have on the basis of the teaser and the trailer PRESETí in the extras, I note with amazement that many scenes do not appear in this version, evidently have been made cuts ... who knows maybe some details not included they might have more depth. Speaking of the actors this time Fratter does not rely usual bunch of actors who previously but new faces and some well-known. Citing two, in particular we have the beautiful Polish Eliza Ryciak very popular at home, taken in "loan" to our italics cinema and who knew very well how to interpret his character, then we have a small Micol Olivieri, unknown actress at the time of the film , unlike today which is very popular for being one of the protagonists of the famous and successful TV series "I Cesaroni, actress who honestly speaking I have never estimated, while here and strangely for the first time I appreciated. The thriller and horror had always been his real vocation? Another thing to mention absolutely of this successful films, are the shots, this time the audience is delighted not only by the usual close-ups (of which the director often makes extensive use for his films) but also aerial photography, nearby and distant really very intriguing and fascinating. The locations and the music here are treated more than ever, in the first case the villa (with adjacent forest) instead of misdeeds, the church where we will see Sara have a talk with a figure very "particular" and the night streets of the city that show a considerable charm, while about the music are spectacular and highlight the drama of context. About the gore effects, being a psychological horror are no particular brutality or splatter scenes, as it should be here are the emotions and the atmosphere to be the master, but the blood can assure you that will not fail. In conclusion I feel compelled to praise this film and to stress that the final result is to be considered commendable. Do not miss it, it is a good movie!
