I had the misfortune to catch this movie on late night cable TV. "American Daylight" joins the ranks of faceless, doomed-to-anonymity, Indian-American co-productions built around the call centers phenomenon and seeks to lure gullible Indian movie-goers to a totally boring vehicle. The movie is poorly acted, has an incredulously unbelievable story line and apparently has a hard time deciding whether it wants to be a love story or a crime drama.
Even Bollywood stalwart Gulshan Grover seems to be moving about in a zombie-like daze, probably having realized his mistake in signing up for this debacle. The only halfway decent thing about the film is Koel Purie who could have a good career in films if she avoids such crappy scripts in future.
Total rubbish - this is a movie to be avoided at all costs!
