Old-fashioned ideas are refreshing.
Tom Murray11 February 2004
'Tailor Made' consists of an interview with Tony Puncsak, who left Hungary after WWII, feeling that there was no hope for him there as a tailor of formal wear. He settled in Montreal, created a successful business as a maker of formal wear, married and worked 16 to 18 hours a day. He is now, at 76, planning to retire. He thinks now that he should have retired at 65 but he did love his work and was very proud of its high quality. His wife, who married him (her first boyfriend), was also there and had her own ideas to present. In a time when most businesses care only for the bottom line, their old-fashioned attitudes are delightfully refreshing.
