Boots TV Series Will Star Miles Heizer and Vera Farmiga
Image
Miles Heizer is heading to the front lines in Boots. Inspired by former US Marine Greg Cope White’s memoir The Pink Marine, the upcoming 8-episode drama series hails from creator, co-showrunner Andy Parker and showrunner Jennifer Cecil.

Set in 1990, Boots follows charming underdog Cameron Cope (Heizer), a bullied, gay high school student who impulsively joins the Marine Corps with his straight best friend, Ray (Liam Oh), in hopes that he’ll finally be made into a “real man.” It’s a dangerous move at a time when being gay in the military meant a prison sentence or worse. The two friends plunge into Marine Corps boot camp — amid both literal and metaphorical land mines — joining a platoon of young men on a harrowing journey of transformation.

Oh’s Ray is the ultimate ride or die best friend...

Ransom Canyon boss shuts down love triangle chances for fan-favorite pairing
Image
Since making its premiere on Netflix in April, Ransom Canyon has become a breakout sensation and a new fan-favorite romantic drama series that has everyone shipping. Between Staten and Quinn, Ellie and Yancy, and Lauren and Lucas, there's so much romance to root for, but there's also plenty more possibilities for love triangles and new combinations to bloom.

Throughout the first season, Lauren (Lizzy Greene) was already in a love triangle between her rich, star athlete boyfriend Reid Collins (Andrew Liner) and secret wrong-side-of-the-tracks beau Lucas Russell (Garrett Warening). However, the tornado episode proved that Lauren had chemistry with another eligible bachelor in town: Lucas' troubled brother Kit (Casey W. Johnson).

After binge-watching the first season, Ransom Canyon fans have been shipping Lauren and Kit, and it's completely understandable. There was something between them as they rode out the storm together and got to know each other better. Of course,...

I Know What You Did Last Summer Trailer Brings Back Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. To Help New Victims
Image
In 1997, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. were the only survivors of the legendary Southport Massacre in I Know What You Did Last Summer. Almost 30 years later, they return in the upcoming legacy sequel.

I Know What You Did Last Summer has Jennifer Kaytin Robinson at the helm, with a slightly different angle. While the original film followed four friends whose mistakes come back to haunt them one year later, the legacy sequel follows five friends dealing with the consequences of their actions following a deadly car accident. Ahead of the film's release, Sony Pictures officially unveiled the first trailer, giving a glimpse at the new cast and the legacy characters played by Hewitt and Prinze.

"When five friends inadvertently cause a deadly car accident, they cover up their involvement and make a pact to keep it a secret rather than face the consequences," the legacy sequel's official longline reads.

Barbara Alyn Woods is going strong with The Golden Bachelorette contestant Mark Anderson!

The 63-year-old One Tree Hill star recently revealed on the Drama Queens podcast how her relationship with the 57-year-old army veteran came to be.

She continued, “And Mark was there being all cute and dimply and sweet and like, ‘Who’s that guy?’ I guess I wasn’t the only one who noticed his dimples. He was at the final episode of her show. He was in the audience and I’m watching with [my daughter] and like, ‘Oh, there’s my boyfriend.’”

‘Holiday in the Sun’ Actor Austin Nichols Says He “Was Too Old” to Kiss 15-Year-Old Co-Star Mary-Kate Olsen
Image
Austin Nichols is opening up about how “weird” and “wrong” it was for him to kiss a 15-year-old Mary-Kate Olsen while filming a movie together.

In the 2001 film Holiday in the Sun, Nichols played Griffen Grayson, a love interest to Olsen’s Madison Stewart. And on a recent episode of the Drama Queens podcast, hosted by his former One Tree Hill costars Sophia Bush, Hilarie Burton Morgan and Bethany Joy Lenz, the actor reflects on playing the part.

“I was definitely nervous because Mary-Kate was 15, and I was, I think, 18 or 19, or maybe even 20. I don’t remember, but I was too old,” he said. “It felt weird and it felt wrong.” Nichols was 21 years old when the movie was released.

He continued to describe how he “looked very young,” so he believes the age difference may not be so noticeable for people watching it. “I’m real tall and skinny and nerdy,...

Netflix’s New Cowboy: Eoin Macken Teases the Allure of Ransom Canyon and Its Central Love Triangle
Image
Netflix excels at adapting book series into streaming. You only have to look at Sweet Magnolias or Virgin River.

Now, it’s adapting Jodi Thomas’s Ransom Canyon book series; from what we’ve seen, it will be a hit. It feels like Virgin River, Yellowstone, and Friday Night Lights with three feuding families over ranch land. But it’s much more with family legacy, love triangles, and deep-rooted dreams.

Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly lead Ransom Canyon as Staten Kirkland and Quinn O’Grady, but it includes a star-studded cast, including Eoin Macken, who plays Davis Collins, the man with a plan.

(Cr. Anna Kooris/Netflix © 2024 )

TV Fanatic interviewed Macken about the allure of the series, what he enjoyed about his character, and the love triangle between Davis, Quinn, and Staten.

Check out the interview below.

Hi Eoin. You teased this role the last time we talked, saying how much I’d like it.

The Desperate Housewives Cast is Game for a Comeback, So Why Hasn’t Disney Made it Happen?
Image
These days, just about any show that has been off the air for even a minute is subject to a reboot. So why are the shows that we want to see never the ones getting the green light?

It’s hard to say “reboot” without expecting the inevitable groans that will follow. That’s because, more often than not, reboots are never what the fans expect or want.

Recently, Eva Longoria expressed interest in returning to Wisteria Lane, and all I have to say is, “Please take my money and bring back the lovely ladies of Desperate Housewives.”

(ABC/Screenshot)

Everyone loves a continuation. How great is it when, rather than destroying the memories attached to a show, it is given a chance to continue its story?

Here’s looking at you, upcoming Buffy the Vampire Slayer requel (a reboot that is actually a sequel or continuation of the original...

The Waterfront: Why I’m Excited For Netflix’s Frothy New Summer Drama
Image
One thing Netflix knows how to do well is have a summer hit emerge that’ll set the internet ablaze and have everyone discussing it in all corners of social media platforms.

There’s nothing quite like settling in for a binge with a cold beverage and nothing but time as the streamer lures you into a new world of pure vibes and solid characters.

And without a doubt, this summer’s hit will be The Waterfront.

(Dana Hawley/Netflix ) The Waterfront Already Sold Us with Who Is Behind It

Kevin Williamson wrote and executive produced the series.

Yes, that one — the man behind some of our lasting favorite series such as Dawson’s Creek, The Vampire Diaries, The Secret Circle, Fox’s grisly but great The Following, and, you know, the entire Scream franchise.

Why High Potential Will Probably Never See a Full Season Order
Image
You’re not alone if you’re still thinking about the tumultuous ending to High Potential’s freshman season. Fans are foaming at the mouth for more Morgan Gillory, and for good reason.

The ABC series came out of nowhere and gave viewers everything they could want in a police procedural. While the show isn’t exactly redefining the genre, it brings audiences precisely what they want.

There’s a good chance High Potential fans will never truly be satiated by any single season. I’d like to point out that the series is still a hot topic among fans.

(Mitch Hasseth/Disney)

That’s because thirteen episodes were just not enough. In the world of broadcast television, people want a full season of their regularly scheduled shows.

Is that what you want? Well, let me tell you, we’ll probably never get it. The crux is that the reason...

Earn It: Why TV Romance Works Best When It Takes Its Time
Image
You know the feeling. That slow, aching wait as two characters circle each other for seasons.

A look here. A brush of the hand there. The kind of tension that makes you yell at the screen — “Just kiss already!” And when they finally do? Worth. Every. Second.

TV used to thrive on the long game. Relationships were built through banter, conflict, trust, and time. Lately, it seems like some shows have forgotten how satisfying it is to make viewers wait and let the emotional connection build naturally.

(Fox/Screenshot)

I’ve always been a fan of the slow burn.

There’s something powerful about a relationship that simmers in the background, woven into the story without rushing it. You feel like you’re part of the journey, rooting for every tiny moment to mean something more.

It’s not about the kiss — it’s about everything that leads up to it.

Suits LA’s Best Character Has the Least Impact and That Sucks
Image
Suits LA has been on the air for several weeks now, and while it has not been the hit most people expected, it is finding its footing.

The Stephen Amell-led Suits spinoff started with a bang as it introduced the characters and their dynamics.

The season premiere ripped apart the status quo that existed before the series’ events and split the narrative in two.

(Justin Lubin/NBC)

One side stayed with Ted Black, while the other went with Stuart Lane.

As both firms have worked through cases that landed on their desks, it has become clear that Rick Dodsen should be the show’s star.

What’s heartbreaking is that he might never be.

Rick Is the Only Decent Person on Suits LA (Trae Patton/NBC)

Who knew flag football could be so fun?

The highlight of The Rookie Season 7 Episode 14 may have been that ending which had LAPD and Lafd competing with each other and a freaking Manning thrown into the mix.

But outside of that, it was a solid hour that highlighted how badass The Rookie women are.

Will Trent Season 3 Episode 14 Highlights Ghosts of the Past
Image
If there is one area in which Will Trent excels, it’s character-driven arcs.

Viewers have wondered since Will Trent Season 3 began what Rafael Wexford held over Will’s head.

Their complicated relationship made more sense after those flashbacks on Will Trent Season 3 Episode 14. Rafael’s Grandma Pearl (Marla Gibbs) took Will in after he aged out of the system, but Will and Rafael clashed, yet cared for each other.

( Daniel Delgado Jr./ Disney)

This seemed to resemble their current relationship since the men came back together to grieve Grandma Pearl, but Will schemed to arrest and take down his old friend.

The ghosts of the past had caught up with them. Not just with them, either, as this was Jeremy’s last chance to take down Rafael, or he might be prosecuted.

Det. Ormewood’s time serving overseas was also revisited, and he had developed medical issues from having shrapnel in the brain.

One Tree Hill Was a Defining Teen Drama, but I Don’t Think the Reboot Can Succeed in Today’s World
Image
What’s that I hear? Why, it’s the sound of Gavin DeGraw crooning the opening theme of One Tree Hill. Take me back to the days of flip phones, Sketchers, and AOL Instant Messenger.

Those were the days when teen drama ruled as the last remnants of the late ’90s and early 2000s.

One Tree Hill was a defining show for an entire generation of teenagers. Now, the series acts as a time capsule, freezing a moment in time that many people in their thirties now look back on with nostalgia.

(Warner Bros. Television/Screenshot)

Believe it or not, the show is still popular among the crowd that originally enjoyed it, as well as a new group of kids who are discovering it for the first time.

That’s why Netflix saw an opportunity to cash in on all those memories of Coach bags and Hollister tees. However, can...

Does Watson’s Renewal Prove CBS Is Out of Touch With Viewers?
Image
Things aren’t as elementary as they appear, my dear Watson. The medical drama was practically dead on arrival, yet CBS has extended its life through an early renewal.

That would be fine, except that the numbers don’t exactly reflect viewer interest. It’s a great show, but how the hell did it survive the chopping block that many other shows didn’t?

The thing about Watson is that it’s not a bad show. In fact, it’s one of my favorite newest CBS series. It has gripping episodic medical cases and an attractive cast of talented actors.

(Colin Bentley/CBS)

The problem is that there have been so many iterations of Sherlock Holmes and the many literary characters around him that they do not offer anything new to audiences.

While the cases on Watson are fresh, the premise is considered “overused” by many viewers. So, why did...

Yes, we know. Dozens of you out there always say the same thing when faced with anything remotely Grey’s Anatomy-related.

And to answer your often sardonic question: Yes, it’s still on.

The series got picked up for its 22nd season, which means it’ll continue trudging along and making history as it does. From the sounds of things, Ellen Pompeo will still have her name attached to it.

(Disney/Nino Muñoz)

Recently, she did an interview about her latest project, Good American Family.

In the El PAÍS interview, she opens up about why she still sticks around at Grey’s Anatomy, even when some of us still feel like, in many ways, the series can’t continue to truly thrive in its new era if it still fixates on Meredith Grey.

This Is Why Doctor Odyssey Lost Viewers Early

9-1-1’s move to ABC came with great promise for Ryan Murphy’s fans.

For at least one season, they were guaranteed more of one of the most entertaining procedurals currently on television.

However, as 9-1-1 Season 8 returned, ABC doubled down on Ryan Murphy by ordering another procedural.

Doctor Odyssey‘s journey to the small screen was swift and smooth. The show was greenlit quickly, and a solid cast was swiftly attached.

No one really knew what the show was about, but when the trailer premiered, we got a glimpse into what was coming.

Like most new shows, Doctor Odyssey was met with great viewership.

Before the Ride Begins: Jack Schumacher on Becoming Yancy Grey in Netflix’s Ransom Canyon
Image
Netflix is saddling up for a new kind of modern Western with Ransom Canyon, a sweeping series that blends romance, family legacy, and wide-open Texas landscapes.

At the center of it all is Yancy Grey, played by Jack Schumacher — a character who’s as complicated as he is compelling.

And for Schumacher, diving into Yancy’s boots took more than just memorizing lines. It meant cowboy camp, emotional introspection, and a whole lot of protein.

(Photo by Irvin Rivera Courtesy of Jack Schumacher)

“I’ve always been in pretty good shape,” Schumacher laughed when asked about the show’s many shirtless scenes.

“But I definitely worked out a lot for this. A lot changed with the diet, a lot of protein, and a lot of hours in the gym.”

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 Episode 4 Struggles to Draw a Line in the Sand Between Gilead and a Free Society
Image
June is struggling sharing the spotlight with Luke and Moira on The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 Episode 4, but not because she wants it all to herself.

Instead, she’s rattled that they kept their plans from her for so long and concerned they may not fully understand what they’re getting themselves into by staging a multi-pronged attack.

But June will have to open her arms and let them in.

(Disney/Steve Wilkie)

Luke has taken control of a plan of attack that includes bombing a comms tower, an ammunition warehouse, and a federal building.

It’s changed him. His whole demeanor changed, from his posture to the cadence of his voice. Sure, he’s a different man than the one we met during The Handmaid’s Tale Season 1, but he’s even more significantly changed than the man who welcomed June to Canada in The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4.

When Rupert Grint Almost Played Hilary Duff’s Online Crush In A Cinderella Story
Image
Was Rupert Grint almost cast in A Cinderella Story? (Photo Credit – Instagram)

Yep, the same charming high school quarterback who stole Hilary Duff’s heart, and half the internet’s, could have been played by Ron Weasley himself.

But Grint didn’t ghost the project for no reason. According to Cosmopolitan, he had to pass on the teen rom-com because he was deep into filming Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Hogwarts came calling, and he picked up.

A Cinderella Story, which hit screens in 2004, became a go-to comfort flick for a generation. It followed Sam Montgomery (played by Hilary Duff), a hard-working teen stuck under her stepmother’s thumb. Between shifts at the family diner and prepping for college, she found solace in anonymous emails exchanged with a mystery guy named “Nomad.” Plot twist? Nomad turned out to be Austin Ames, the most popular jock at school.

Found Season 2 Episode 19 Teases New Sir Mystery; Who Is He Working For?

Why do the Feds have Sir?

Just when it feels like we’ve resolved one mystery or arc, Found Season 2 Episode 19 introduces another one, as the lingering question after the hour is what deal did Sir strike to get whisked away to the cushier confinements of federal prison?

On the plus, while Jamie had a rough introduction, he’s slowly becoming an endearing addition to the team.

NCIS: Origins Season 1 Episode 16 Has Set the Stage to Bring the Entire Series Full Circle
Image
At this point, it’s our own fault for being so surprised every time NCIS: Origins delivers another incredible episode. The series is not wasting a bit of potential from its stable of fantastic characters.

For one, what seemed like a series of coincidental episodes has become a full-blown strategy of character-centric stories. My God, does it work.

NCIS: Origins Season 1 Episode 16, “Bugs,” was a perfect mixture of lighthearted humor, thrilling mystery, and gripping emotional drama.

(Robert Voets/CBS)

All that was missing were a few jump scares and a romantic moment to have run the entire gamut of broadcast TV genres.

Not for nothing, but was anyone else surprised by the amount of casual comedy on this episode?

Paradise Season 1 Episode 2 Delivers Answers Galore, Solidifying Itself as 2025’s Best New Drama
Image
When Paradise Season 1 Episode 1 unveiled an intricate mystery about who murdered Cal Bradford, I had some significant concerns about whether the series could keep up the pace.

Thankfully, Paradise Season 1 Episode 2 expanded the world and the lore to give answers about why this last-chance safe haven exists, and more importantly, who’s pulling the strings.

Julianne Nicholson has been on our screens for the better part of two decades, and she’s turning in awards-worthy work as the tantalizing Sinatra.

(Hulu/Screenshot)

It was evident from the beginning that Sinatra would be a pivotal player on Paradise. Still, I didn’t expect to learn her backstory and how her tenacity to make her late son’s idea of heaven became the setting for the entire series.

Sinatra has this icy-cold exterior and doesn’t allow many people into her life, which makes sense given what she’s been through.

Outer Banks Tries Too Hard With Friends to Lovers, It’s More Cringe-Worthy Than Heartfelt
Image
Outer Banks leans hard into the friends-to-lovers trope and ends up face-planting. Instead of slow-burn charm, we get awkward stares, clunky moments, and zero real spark.

Frankly speaking, it’s less romantic tension and more secondhand embarrassment on loop. The very shift from friendship to romance feels rushed, forced, and way too scripted to land any real emotional punch.

Sure, the show nails the beach vibes and adventure chaos, but when it tries to get cute with love, it fumbles hard. The chemistry falls flat, the buildup lacks bite, and the whole thing feels more cringe than compelling.

Netflix’s Outer Banks might serve up tropical sunsets and buried treasure, but when it comes to romance?...

Image
It was the year 2000 when Star Trek: Voyager was in its sixth season, when new characters were introduced to the fold. From finding fame with Star Trek to losing it all when speaking in the Kevin Spacey-Anthony Rapp s*xual assault case, this actor might be one of the most controversial of them all.

It wasn’t just a case of saying the wrong things, but Manu Intiraymi, who portrayed the role of Icheb in Star Trek: Voyager, had his career taken away and his role getting recast, because of a bad choice.

One Tree Hill star teases Netflix reboot: 'Lots of good things cooking right now'
Image
Even though its been over 20 years since One Tree Hill first made its premiere back in 2003 on The WB, and almost 15 years since the show went off the air in 2012, it's never been more popular or beloved. That's why it makes all the sense that Sophia Bush and Hilarie Burton Morgan have been working on a reboot for Netflix that would bring them back as Brooke and Peyton.

Word of the in-the-works reboot series first leaked back in September 2024, and there haven't been any additional concrete updates on the potential return to Tree Hill. According to Bush and Burton Morgan, the news dropped before they were ready to announce anything, that's why only they were attached so far, along with Danneel and Jensen Ackles on board as fellow executive producers.

Naturally, One Tree Hill fans want to know everything there is to know about the developing Netflix reboot, and we...

Image
Tyler Hilton is talking Taylor Swift.

The 41-year-old One Tree Hill actor and singer got candid about his past with the 35-year-old music superstar in a new interview.

“I was doing an interview with a country magazine and they were talking about this girl Taylor Swift that just came out who was, like, 15. I heard her song ‘Tim McGraw’ and I was so into it,” he recalled to Us.

Keep reading to find out more…

“That first record was so good to me,” he remembered. “It sounds so dumb, but you have to be brave enough to write the lyrics like she did on that first record. They’re just not something that a professional songwriter would think. ‘When you think Tim McGraw, I hope you think my favorite song.’ I just would never use Tim McGraw on a song. It’s so cool. I told [the magazine], ‘Oh, by the way,...

Tyler Hilton Is Down for Taylor's Version of "Teardrops on My Guitar" Whenever Taylor Swift Wants
Image
Every Swiftie knows where they were when they watched the music video for Taylor Swift's "Teardrops on My Guitar" for the first time. That song, along with "Tim McGraw" broke Swift into the country music scene back in 2006. The music video illustrated the song, following Taylor while she pines over a boy named Drew, and One Tree Hill fans may recognize the person playing Drew. Tyler Hilton, a musician, best known acting-wise as Chris Keller on One Tree Hill, portrayed the boy Swift was pining over for the duration of the music video. With Swift's push to reclaim her music through "Taylor's Versions" of her old albums, Hilton recently told Elite Daily that he'd be down to reprise his role for a Taylor's Version music video.

"Debut was my album. I loved it so much, so I think Taylor’s Version will be great,” he says. “And maybe we...

Image
Jana Kramer (One Tree Hill) is opening up about her experience on Dancing with the Stars — and it turns out, it wasn’t exactly her favorite gig. Although the singer has recently been on The Masked SingerSeason 12 as well, Dancing with the Stars, in comparison, had her being insecure, and she’s not the first star to feel like that.

During the March 26, 2025 episode of her Unmask and Unwhine podcast with guest Candace Cameron Bure, the actress-singer confessed she felt insecure throughout her DWTS journey. Kramer competed in DWTS Season 23 with pro partner Gleb Savchenko, and ultimately placed fourth. However, despite that strong finish, she recalled feeling “a big insecurity” about her lack of dance training and shared her sentiments in the following words:

“I hated Dancing with the Stars. That was a big insecurity because I don’t know how to dance. With [The Masked Singer], it’s, like, you have a mask on,...

TV Show Sets That Were Recycled for Other Series
Image
Unlike a movie set, which will probably only stand for a few months, a TV set might have to hold out for anywhere from a few weeks for an unproduced pilot to several decades. When it ends up being closer to the former, or even once a behemoth has ended, it’s a shame to let it go to waste. That’s why even some of the most iconic TV sets can get repurposed like a Goodwill lamp.

5 The Munsters Mansion

It might have looked spooky in black and white, but the Munsters mansion was actually a charming Victorian built on the Universal Studios lot that appeared in several movies before that famous family moved in. It went on to appear mostly unnoticed in TV shows like Dragnet and Quantum Leap before it was sold to a Desperate Housewife and became 4351 Wisteria Lane, a home that seemed to lead to...

15 Great Actors Who Had Their Breakthrough Roles on The CW
Image
The iconic The CW Network was created in 2006 as a merger between Upn and The WB, carving out a prominent space in the television landscape. Initially leaning on successful series inherited from the parent companies like Gilmore Girls and One Tree Hill, the network slowly established itself as the home of several original hit dramas and fantasy shows. Over time, The CW became known for having unique programming and also for constantly showcasing exciting new talent.

The network has a knack for giving up-and-coming actors big roles in shows that, while often campy or extremely genre-driven, still allow them to demonstrate a wide range of acting chops. Many now-great actors got their first big break there. Gina Rodriguez, for instance, became a breakout star as the lead in the campy Jane the Virgin. Her charismatic performance and the show's telenovela style mutually benefited, catapulting the reputations of both. But supporting...

At SXSW, Sophia Bush, Jeremy O. Harris, Jaboukie Young-White & Zoë Chao Champion LGBTQ Resistance & “The Queering Of Filmmaking”
Image
Although LGBTQ representation was few and far in between among the headliners at this year’s SXSW, several indie darlings broke the industry’s cis-heteronormative mold to stand out.

From Special Jury Award winner Fucktoys, multi-hyphenate Annapurna Sriram’s bold celluloid fever dream of a feature debut, to The True Beauty of Being Bitten by a Tick, co-writer/director Pete Ohs’ captivating model for cooperative filmmaking, there’s a glimmer of hope that the future of the industry lies in the hands of a new generation of marginalized folk with the right amount of passion, vision and ingenuity.

While catching up with Sophia Bush about her upcoming One Tree Hill revival in the works at Netflix, the actress emphasized the importance of LGBTQ representation in media as the Trump administration continues to dismantle Dei.

“I think 2025 sucks for everyone, to be clear, but what I think is worrisome, particularly for us,...

Tyler Hilton shrugged it off when his 5-year-old daughter, Winnie, became obsessed with a series introduced by a nanny. “Uh, Ok … a dog family,” he thought, doubting its appeal. But as the musician and actor became unable to escape listening to Bluey’s World in the background of his Canada home, he soon found himself chuckling, impressed and engrossed.

“The parents were so relatable and mirrored the parent I wanted to be,” says the One Tree Hill star. “They weren’t removed and authoritative, but super-loving, involved and part of the fun — but also exhausted and exasperated sometimes. It was like watching me on screen. Then I got to episodes that made me want to cry and went, ‘This is the greatest show ever.’”

“They Didn’t Give Us Enough”: ‘One Tree Hill’ Stars Talk About Their Co-Stars’ “Stupid” Exits
Image
It's fairly common for actors closely associated with a long-running series to suddenly decide to move on and pursue other projects. During One Tree Hill's nine-season run, however, some characters' exits happened due to some terrible events taking place behind the scenes. The cast and crew have opened up about how series creator Mark Schwahn created a toxic workplace culture during the series' production, and during their podcast Drama Queens, series stars Sophia Bush and Bethany Joy Lenz (Pearson) weighed in on what was really behind the exit of main characters like Peyton (Hilarie Burton Morgan) and Lucas (Chad Michael Murray).
