"Decision to Leave" is now streaming on Hulu, so you've got an easy decision to watch ahead of you. The 2022 South Korean film, directed by Park Chan-Wook, combines romance and mystery. Distributed stateside by Mubi, "Decision to Leave" racked up impressive streaming viewership over there. Its addition to the Hulu library will likely (and should) expand that viewership even more.

While Western action films often fall into categories such as serious, genre-defining films like “Drive” (2011), or long-running franchises like “Mission: Impossible” or “John Wick,” or even more comedic and mainstream-friendly entries like “Novocaine” (2025), Tamil cinema continues to forge its own path. In recent years, Tamil action films have aimed to be more grounded and emotionally driven with vulnerable protagonists. The month of may has brought forward an exciting lineup of films, series, and reality shows to binge this summer. Paramount+ has a full slate of interesting releases including the premiere of David Beckam’s talk show Beckham & Friends Live and the seasons of some popular reality shows.

American Music Awards are set to happen this month and will be available to stream on the digital giant. Scary Movie films and seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race are also included in the diverse lineup of the digital platform. Here’s what it set to release on Paramount+ during the month of May.

May is also serving up new seasons of hit series, including Criminal Minds: Evolution, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, SkyMed, and the highly anticipated Season 7 premiere of The Chi. The lead actor and martial artist who broke onto the scene with one of last year’s best and most underrated action movies has revealed that he has now wrapped on a new action thriller project. Bren Foster, who so impressed genre fans with last year’s Life After Fighting, the tale of a martial arts instructor who must use his skills in the real-world when two of his students are abducted by human traffickers, has now revealed the first look and details about his new upcoming action outing, The Farmer. And it sounds just as thrilling.

Taking to social media, Foster revealed several images from the set of The Farmer, confirming that the action movie has now wrapped and declaring it a “banger.”

There’s a discernible bookend quality to season 1 of Daredevil: Born Again, thanks to the creative reboot that happened over the course of production. Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead directed the final two episodes of the season, as well as the premiere, giving an overarching arc that carried through smaller stories like the St. Patrick’s Day bank robbery or the hunt for the serial killer Muse (Hunter Doohan).

“The big things that we did were changing the tone a little bit, into something a bit darker,” Moorhead tells Gold Derby. “By the way, when I say ‘we,’ I mean the two of us, but also of course Marvel and Dario [Scardapane], our showrunner. We also made it more serialized, stretching arcs through every episode. And amusingly, everybody was missing ‘oner’ fights. So we got tasked with being able to bring a oner into the universe, which we would've fought to do anyways.

Few cinematic tools are used as often — and as badly — as the oner. Also known as a long take or a one shot, a oner is pretty much exactly what it sounds like: One shot that goes on for several minutes, sometimes encompassing an entire scene or (in particularly showy films) multiple scenes. Even though it’s ostensibly the absence of trickery, long takes are difficult to pull off, and sometimes are done purely for the sake of being showy rather than them being particularly necessary. But when a long take is justified, and done well, it can be one of the most thrilling things to experience onscreen.

Here's the set-up: Bullseye has attacked Josie's Bar and critically wounded Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson). Matt/Daredevil (Charlie Cox) arrives and attacks Bullseye, fighting him into the bar. Daredevil has strength and rage on his side, so Bullseye is left running. The one-take begins in the interior of Josie's, then follows Bullseye as he makes it up the building's stairwell, Daredevil close behind, before the fight concludes on the roof.

Netflix is removing several titles in March of 2025, including a selection of movies on the first of the month!

If you’re on Netflix often, you’ll remember seeing one of these films in the top 10 most watched section recently. Cillian Murphy, Chris Hemsworth and Tom Holland‘s In the Heart of the Sea was actually the number 1 movie on Netflix in early January, and now it’s being removed next month.

Valentine’s Day might be about flowers, chocolates, and romance – but in horror, love often leads to obsession, betrayal, and bloody revenge. The Best Valentine’s Day Horror Movies 1. My Bloody Valentine (1981 & 2009)

Few films embody Valentine’s Day horror better than My Bloody Valentine. This cult classic slasher follows a mining town plagued by a masked killer seeking revenge on Valentine’s Day.

South Korea has a strong presence in the international landscape of entertainment, especially in music and cinema. The horror genre has been explored in South Korea since the early days of the country's cinema and evolved significantly throughout the decades, becoming a synonym of innovation and expertise in the genre. K-cinema is particularly associated with some of the best supernatural horror and zombie horror movies, yet Korean horror cinema has something for every taste.

Known for blending cultural themes into horror, the genre has been through different phases. Early Korean horror movies were often cautionary tales that reflected tendencies and fears within Korean society, perfectly exemplified by the 1960 psychological horror movie The Housemaid. Around the late 1990s and early 2000s, the genre experienced a renewal in South Korea. This shift propelled the making of more high-octane action horror, like 2006's The Host, and other subgenres that are still popular in Korean cinema today.

Spain’s Film Factory Entertainment has added to its burgeoning Berlin sales slate of star-laden upscale entertainment titles with market potential, acquiring international distribution rights to psychological mystery thriller “Reversion,” starring Jaime Lorente, who played the conflicted Denver in “Money Heist.”

Film Factory Entertainment will present a first promo of “Reversion”at this week’s European Film Market in Berlin.

As producers push casts as a manner to stand out in a far too crowded market, “Reversion” also stars Manu Vega (“With the Years I have Left”), Belen Rueda, lead in J.A. Bayona’s debut “The Orphanage,” and Fernando Cayo, Coronel Tamayo in “Money Heist.”

Co- written by Marco Legarde (“UFO Factory”) and Frank Ariza (“With the Years I have Left”), alongside first-time director Jacob Santana, “Reversion” turns on Mario (Lorente) who moves to a new house with his parents and older brother David (Vega).

One rainy afternoon, Mario witnesses his brother being violently kidnapped.

Bong Joon-ho’s acclaimed monster action sci-fi The Host has finally received a new streaming update. The 2006 movie was led by Cannes-winning South Korean actor Song Kang-ho, who has been Bong’s long-time collaborator on multiple movies since 1998, including the Oscar-winning black comedy thriller Parasite.

As of Feb. 1, The Host is now available to start streaming on Max, after nearly two decades since making its theatrical debut. The film follows Song’s Gang-du, who is a clumsy single father to a rebellious teenage daughter. He works as a food stand vendor on the banks of the Han River, where a terrifying creature suddenly appears. Chaos ensues, and Gang-du’s daughter gets abducted by the creature, who drags her into the river. Gang-du, along with the rest of his family, decide to rescue her despite the odds. During its theatrical run, it became one of South Korea’s high-grossing movies at the time,...

The first-looking image of Park Chan-wook's No Other Choice has been revealed. Park is an award-winning South Korean director behind classic films, such as the original version of Oldboy. Since Oldboy was released in 2003, he has helmed other award-winning movies and TV shows, including The Handmaiden, Decision to Leave, and The Sympathizer. He wrote, directed, and produced his upcoming film No Other Choice. The film is a comedy crime thriller about a man who decides to take extreme measures when grappling with his unemployment situation.

Per Deadline, the first look image of No Other Choice shows stars Lee Byung-hun and Son Ye-jin standing in a yard together, appearing to be dancing. In addition, the No Other Choice update revealed that filming is complete for the film. No release date has been confirmed at this time. Check out the image below:

Veteran Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook has wrapped production on No Other Choice, which stars Lee Byung-hun (Squid Game) and Son Ye-jin (Crash Landing on You).

The five-month shoot kicked off in August 2024, with Moho Film attached as the production company and Cj Enm as distributor. Above is a first-look image released by Cj.

Based on the 1997 novel “The Ax” by Donald Westlake, the film follows Man Soo (played by Lee), a man who is suddenly fired from a paper company. He is determined to find a new job and deals with those standing in his way.

Park Hee-soon (Moving), Lee Sung-min (The Spy Gone North), Yeom Hye-ran (The Glory), Cha Seung-won (Uprising) and Yoo Yeon-seok (Hospital Playlist) are also part of the cast for No Other Choice.

In 2002, the horror anthology film Three was released, consisting of three horror tales from East Asian countries. The film received accolades and a sequel, which was released two-years-later in the form of Three… Extremes. The anthology follow-up collected three more horror tales from different directors, and was successful enough in the United States that its predecessor received a stateside release. Strangely enough, Three was repackaged to Western audiences as a sequel entitled Three… Extremes II.

Opening up this anthology is Dumplings, the Hong Kong entry from director Fruit Chan. Arriving at a house is Mrs. Li (Miriam Yeung Chin-Wah), a formerly well-known actress who wishes to get dumplings sold by Mei (Bai Ling).
