Something Close to Heaven may be one of the prettiest films I've seen.
The director's attention to lighting and cinematoghraphy make this film glow and resonate with the youthfulness of our main character.
Although at times odd, SCTH gets the viewer thinking and thrusts us into the sad yet beautiful world of sexual awakening and familial understanding.
With much symbolism and care given to emotion, SCTH is extremely smart yet doesnt leave the viewer feeling alienated or left out of the secret.
It may be hard to get a hold of, but definitly check this out to catch early Dustin Lance Black......will be collector's item once his superstardom is achieved and talent recognized.
