Documentary on Gangs in a barrio of Los Angeles. Inspired the movie American Me

True life experience from the mouth of the people who live it. It contains info on how the movie, American Me, was created around this neighborhood. Ex-gang-bangers (Veteranos) turned Community Activists, Gangbangers, and MCs tell the tales of the barrio in Los Angeles where another world exists. Be silent and don't blink as you watch and listen to what the kids in the neighborhood and the rest of the community has to say about living in the streets of LA and growing up in a hopeless environment where there is no other exposure that can show them another way of life. Make what you will of this film, in its true effects, it is the sincerity that is pictured. A great example of a good documentary film.
