Season 6, episode Home Invasion - cleavage.
April O Neil throughout the series often wears a short shirt that exposes part of her stomach; some other female characters also wear revealing clothing. There is the occasional bit of flirtation between characters.
In the Fast Forward episode "Turtle X-Tinction" Cody Jones as a baby can be seen naked as Serling the robot is changing his diaper.
The series features at least one humanoid female creature who appears without clothing.

Violence & Gore

Moderate
12 of 16 found this moderate
Like other action oriented kids shows, the violence of the show varies considerably.
Martial arts fighting from various characters. quite heavy, but okay for kids. MUCH heavier than the 1987 series. The series' action is also much more realistic than the 1987 series.
Also in an early episode The turtles (leonardo especially) are beaten close to death by the foot clan and shredder. Heavy, yet tolerable.
Half-way through the show, All but one of the turtles are murdered in an alternate reality. No blood, but Leonardo is stabbed.

Profanity

Mild
12 of 19 found this mild
At least one use of "suck" in the episode "Tales of Leo," multiple "shell" puns throughout the whole series (i.e. "what the shell," "get the shell out of here," "it's a shell of a town") and a direct use of the word "hell" in the description for the episode "Past Present" respectively.
the Turtles use "shell" as a euphemism; phrases such as "oh, shell" and "what the shell"
In the episode "Playtime's Over" Jammerhead uses the word "buggers" which may be considered offensive to the people in the United Kingdom.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

Moderate
12 of 18 found this moderate
A lot darker than other Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.
The Shredder may scare some younger viewers.
Season 3, Episode 21, "Same as it Never Was" is very dark and very emotional. Do not show young or sensitive kids this episode despite its quality.
The character of Baxter Stockman may be frightening as he is constantly mutilated and in one episode has a body that deteriorates.
