Brynja takes lodgings in a small guesthouse called Backyard Village, where she meets...
On ABC's Wednesday sitcom "Suburgatory," which launched a new season in January, Jeremy Sisto plays George Altman, an architect and single father of a teen daughter (Jane Levy) who moves to the suburbs to give her a better life. He discovers life there is different, but whether it's better is a work in progress.
In real life, Sisto is a 39-year-old father of two: daughter Charlie and baby son Bastian. He got married to wife Addie a few months after his daughter was born, but Sisto has no regrets about taking the plunge.
"I love my family," he tells Zap2it. "I have a great wife. It took me a while to figure that out and commit, but now I'm really happy I did. She's a human being, and we're committed to each other. It's a nice thing. The kids are just amazing. It's a different level."

Welcome to No Fact Zone’s weekly roundup of cultural references on The Colbert Report. From Darcy to Danger Mouse, String Theory to Shakespeare, we’ve got the keys to this week’s obscure, oddball, and occasionally obscene cultural shout-outs (hey!).
1001000 1101001 Zoners! Another stellar week at The Report. I have to admit that the Walgreens sketch had me in stitches (do they sew those up there?) because even though it isn’t a service that pharmacies offer right now (even in their in house clinic) it does seem like we are fast approaching that reality. Let me break out my own charts and graphs and show you just how hilarious and insightful this week’s shows were……Ok, my webcam isn’t working so take my word for it – these graphics are great! Until I fix it – tell me, what were your favorite segments?

A few months ago I posted about the Icelandic dark comedy Stormland, based on the best selling book of the same name by Icelandic author Hallgrímur Helgason. The film, directed by Marteinn (One point O) Thorsson, tells the story about a bitter man in a small town in the north of Iceland, enamored by a local viking legend, Nietzsche and the girl at the post office. When he loses his job as a school teacher he starts blogging about the towns inhabitants who don't take too kindly to his writing and end up making him a social outlaw. The film mixes animation with the live action performances when depicting the main character's fragile mind and it's something new in terms of Icelandic filmmaking. The filmmakers have just released a trailer for the film which will be released on the 14th of January.

One of the directors of the awesome scifi flick One Point O, Marteinn Thorsson, has a new drama in the works, and while it may look like an actual trailer it's just a promo to raise funding. It looks kind of drab at first but with the interspersed animation it could be one serious mindf***.
The story revolves around a young man who lives in a small village in northern Iceland and hates just about everyone. He’s a blogger by day and manages to gather around him vast amounts of enemies with his writing until he’s basically made an outcast from his home town and losing everything and everyone that is important to him. Distraught and angry he takes his horse and rides south to the capital with a gun in his pocket with the goal to assassinate the prime minister and start a revolution.
Nsfw Teaser after the break.

For those who don't know who Jeff Renfroe is, he co-write and co-directed the incredible scifi psychological thriller One Point O and while he's done a couple of well received films since, none of them has garnered massive attention. I'm guessing this will probably follow along those some lines, but it sounds incredible, kind of like Thomas M. Disch's The Genocides in the underground aspect. While the film is listed in pre-production, it's being backed by Telefilm Canada so let's hope we get to see more soon. All we have right now is a poster and a brief synopsis.
After the next ice age, a small group of survivors living underground must fight for their lives when their fragile society disintegrates into cannibalism and violence after coming under attack by a savage band of feral humans.
