A female character states that her fiancé will "give her lots of orgasms" in a motel room.

About 16 minutes into the film, a man's girlfriend tells him to take his pants off. We see him in his underwear as she kneels down to presumably perform oral sex on him, but the scene cuts away before anything else is shown.

A man shoots a gas tank causing a massive explosion to the cabin of cannibals.

Three men try to climb up to the ladder of a radio tower with three people. They attempt to burn the tower town with torches of fire while they are still inside. The three plan to escape, they barricade the trapdoor and they jump out the window twenty feet below where there are branches for them to land on. The last girl makes the impact and she lands on her side (she bleeds). The men find them and shoot arrows near them.

A woman and man are exploring the forest suddenly an axe lands out of nowhere, one of the mountain men knocks the man down and kidnaps the woman taking her to the cabin. She is bound with her arms tied to either side of the bed, she watches the cannibals cutting off a cop's head (that we then see dropping from the body). The men holds a knife and brings it closer to her neck so they can slit her throat.

A woman tries to get one of the mountain men's attention on a branch, he approaches her ready to slice her to pieces when a branch is pulled back and then let go, hitting the mountain man and sending him falling a long distance to the ground (but he doesn't die).

A man who rolls down a hill finds a deputy riding his police car. The cop gets out of his car and tries to reason with him while the man tries to warn him that he is in trouble, the cop is then shot in the back of the head through his eye by one of the mountain men. The man hides under the car then in the bushes when he comes closer. The mountain man puts the corpse in the car, drives off and brings it to his cabin. The man clings under the car.

A couple who are rock climbing meet the cannibals abruptly and the man is first killed and thrown off the cliff (we see blood on his head and face), followed by her having the rope cut and falling. She is then dragged away by an unseen attacker before she can reach her car.

A woman is garroted to death when she is grabbed around the mouth with barbed wire that tears into her flesh and sprays blood on the vest. She writhes and screams as she is lifted off the floor by her attacker. We see her later, dead, still with barbed wire around her mouth and blood pouring from her wounds.

The cabin in which the three inbred mountain men live has human remains in jars; teeth, livers and other body parts including the victim's car keys, sunglasses and belongings.

A dead woman is skinned and carved for cooking. Most of this occurs offscreen (but you can hear it vividly.) Blood pours down her arm and pools on the floor. Her semi-naked and mutilated body, missing a leg and hands, is later shown.

There are obscenities used in the film including 12 uses of fuck. Profanity is used in this, but typically in fear or under one's breath. Being quiet is a huge part of how they are surviving which is why it's light on profanity compared to many similar/comparable films that are as violent as this.

Mild use of tobacco

A young couple smoke marijuana. While searching his totaled car, they realize that he's a doctor or studying to be one, and wonder if he'll write them illegal scripts. Tobacco use.

The sounds, the laughs and the behavior of the mountain men are very disturbing and unsettling including their cannibalistic nature.

Two survivors try to fend off attacks by the mountain men in a house.

The appearance of the three mountain men is frightening, as they have many deformities and distortions of their faces and appendages.

The acts they commit are highly disturbing, as they are insane cannibals who kidnap, kill, and mutilate people.

There are several jumpy scenes, including chasing, hiding, and some scenes set at night, such as mountain men suddenly jumping down into a tree, and a man suddenly swinging an axe at one character out of nowhere.
