The Wallflowers will play their beloved album, Bringing Down the Horse, live in its entirety for the first time ever this fall.

Announced today, the celebratory performance will be held on October 2nd, 2024, at the Palace Theatre in Los Angeles, marking the first headlining performance by The Wallflowers in the city in over a decade. A new song performed by the late Dmx dropped Friday off the soundtrack for Epix drama series “Godfather of Harlem,” one week after the iconic rapper’s death at the age of 50.

Readers can listen to the posthumously released Dmx song, “Been to War,” via the video above.

Born Earl Simmons, the 50-year-old rapper is said to be in the critical care unit of a hospital in White Plains.

TMZ first reported the news. Subsequently, Billboard followed up with the rapper’s representatives, confirming that he is hospitalized.

Sources close to Dmx told TMZ that the rapper’s Od occurred at his residence, near 11 Pm.

One unnamed source said that the rapper has “some brain activity,” while another said that he is currently in a “vegetative state.”

At this time, no further details have been provided, with regard to his condition.

Over the years, Dmx has been known for his battles with substance abuse, having checked into rehab a number of times. He last entered rehab in 2019, following a year-long sentence at a West Virginia prison for federal tax evasion.

Sometimes, well more than sometimes if I’m honest, I’ll sit down to watch a film purely on the names in the cast and crew – as this film, Dead Reckoning, would attest.

Directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak, who helmed the superb action trifecta of Romeo Must Die, Cradle to the Grave and Exit Wounds in the early 2000s; and with a cast featuring Scott Adkins and James Remar, and to a lesser extent K.J. Apa – who plays Archie on TV”s Riverdale (a show I gave up watching after the death of Luke Perry); Dead Reckoning looks – on paper – like its right up my action-movie loving street…

Anthony Anderson’s Hollywood career has been consistently characterized by successful pivots, from scene-stealing comedic roles to searing dramatic turns to effervescent hosting duties and many disparate points in between. But even he couldn’t have predicted his latest foray into the unforeseen, as the first person to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the midst of a global pandemic.

“I was looking forward to the pomp and circumstance that surrounds anyone getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, because not just anyone can or will get that,” Anderson says.

The multi-hypenate hoped to celebrate with his family and closest friends in the typical high-profile public ceremony that usually accompanies the honor. But “unfortunately that type of event can’t happen because of what’s happening in the world right now.”

Rest assured, though, eventually he’ll bask directly in the glow of his personal landmark on Hollywood Boulevard.

Netflix has confirmed that a whopping 66 new original series, movies and specials will be debuting on the streaming service in October. Saban Films has just unleashed the trailer and the poster for Dolph Lundgren shoots thousands of zombies in the undead face flick Dead Trigger. The zombie-action motion picture will be receiving a theatrical and VOD release this May and begins when a mysterious virus kills billions and turns many others into bloodthirsty zombies. From there it's up to once upon a time Frank Castle himself, Captain Walker (Lundgren) to lead an elite team to destroy these undead freaks and save the world.

For those of you out there that might not know, Dead Trigger is based on a zombie-themed first-person survival horror mobile game of the same name developed and first published by Madfinger Games in June 2012 for iOS and Android mobile devices. The game is single-player only. Dead Trigger has over 23 million downloads, on all platforms, and a sequel, fittingly called Dead Trigger 2, was released in 2013. The first-person shooter...

All characters are very different; there are no two people on a show that standout in the same way. The 100 has gotten lucky in the way that all of their characters manage to imprint themselves in the fans hearts. 

The only issue? There are too many engaging characters and too much intense plot, which can sometimes result in a lack of screen time for some.

This doesn't have to be alarming, but when you have a show like The 100 where even the smallest character intrigues the viewers that are watching it can end up feeling like there is someone missing.

It really isn't a bad thing, far from it when you consider that more screen time is wanted for all these characters because they have already managed to capture the attention of the fans. 

And yet with The 100 Season 5 airing now, there have been some absences that have been felt way too hard.

We left The 100 Season 5 Episode 5 on a shocking note, not for us but for Clarke and Octavia. Clarke reunited with Madi, but her happiness was cut short when she saw Bellamy and Echo together. They may have been blurred out of the show, but it was clear as day for both of them.

Octavia was the miserable one though; she just ended a threat and Bellamy and here was her least favorite person testing her patience even more.

Based on the promo, Octavia isn't going to ease up on the Echo revelation. Her memories of her aren't the brightest, what with Echo trying to kill her twice then killing Ilian. 

Octavia was just living her life thinking Echo lost hers to Praimfaya, but she is not the only one due for a shakeup. 

Now The 100 Season 5 Episode 6 is using the title "Exit Wounds," so it might be safe to say...

Relationships are essential to any show, but especially to The 100. The bonds that characters form push the plot in different directions and it creates a better story in the process.

Characters are nothing without relationships, both platonic and romantic. Each season The 100 introduces new characters and through that new bonds are formed that raise the stakes, but that also make you feel even more than you thought you could.

There is something special about rooting for different relationships and loving someone else's love. Whether it is found family, new romance, soulmate connections, friendships, partnerships, or even something that fits in the middle of that, The 100 delivers every single time.

Which is why I compiled a list of all the relationships that stood out the most so far based off strong writing, great acting, and even just the feeling that it created within the fandom.

The 100 has a well-documented history of delivering epic trailers, but since the Season 5 edition is still being kept under wraps — possibly in the Warner Bros. water tower, right next the Animaniacs — fans have more questions than ever about what’s next for our favorite (and least-favorite) survivors.

Portia de Rossi has joined an increasing number of women making sexual harassment claims against Exit Wounds star Steven Seagal. "My final audition for a Steven Segal movie took place in his office," she tweeted yesterday. "He told me how important it was to have chemistry off-screen as he sat me down and unzipped his leather pants. I ran out and called my agent. Unfazed, she replied, 'well, I didn’t know if he was your type.'"
