Not an essentially new plot

This film develops an interesting situation, wherein a young school teacher takes the child of a despondent mother about to commit suicide. The teacher comes m for much condemnation from the village gossips, but in the end she is cleared. The son of a wealthy family is found to be responsible for the child and he marries the young mother. Not an essentially new plot, but strongly handled and with good characterizations. - The Moving Picture World, October 4, 1913
