For those who are skittish about snakes, some scenes involving a pet python may be unsettling or suspenseful. Several involve Barry trying to get the python to eat a live mouse (we see the mouse crawling around within the snake's striking distance), and then one has the snake suddenly grab Barry's hand and then grab another student's neck (all played for sudden laughs).

Although it's all played for laughs, a scene where the guys attempt to jump a short ravine with their car may be slightly suspenseful to some viewers.
