Mikey Madison has set her first movie after winning the Academy Award for Best Actress for Anora in March (and passing on a role in Shawn Levy's Star Wars: Starfighter). She will star alongside Kirsten Dunst in Reptilia, an indie thriller feature from director Alejandro Landes Echavarría (Monos). New details have emerged about M. Night Shyamalan's next project, a supernatural romance book and movie he's collaborating on with best-selling author Nicholas Sparks.

People Magazine got an exclusive sneak peek at the duo's work. First up is the novel Remain, co-created by Sparks and Shyamalan. According to the outlet, Remain follows Tate Donovan, a New York architect recovering from a recent stay in a psychiatric facility after the loss of his sister.

Tate prepares to stay in Cape Cod and design a summer home for his best friend, and that's when he meets a woman who makes him question everything he thought he knew about the world. Remain will be published by Random House and released this fall.

Olivia Williams is opening up about her cancer journey and that she’ll never be cancer-free because of a delayed diagnosis.

The actress, who has starred in The Crown, The Sixth Sense, Dune: Prophecy and The Ghost Writer, among dozens of other projects, got candid in a recent interview with The Times.

Williams recalled visiting 10 doctors over four years, trying to figure out what was causing her symptoms, including aching limbs, fatigue and chronic diarrhea. After she was initially misdiagnosed with lupus and perimenopause, a doctor finally found a rare cancerous tumor in her pancreas.

Speaking to The Times U.K. in a new interview, The Crown star discussed her experience with VIPoma (vasoactive intestinal peptide-secreting tumor), a rare neuroendocrine tumor of the pancreas that is detected in 1 out of 1 million people yearly. Notoriously difficult to diagnose early, pancreatic cancer is among the deadliest of the common cancers.

Williams said she first experienced symptoms a decade ago, eventually embarking on a four-year journey where she visited 10 doctors in three countries to get to the root of her illness. She recalled being misdiagnosed with lupus, perimenopause and other forms of cancer.

Haley Joel Osment, known for his role in The Sixth Sense, has publicly apologized after being arrested on April 8 in Mammoth Lakes, California, for alleged public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance.

During the arrest, bodycam footage captured Osment using an antisemitic slur directed at the arresting officer. He expressed deep remorse, stating he was “absolutely horrified” by his behavior and attributing it to emotional distress from recent personal hardships, including the loss of his home in the Eaton Fire earlier this year.

Osment emphasized that there is no excuse for his language and committed to atoning for his actions.

The Mono County District Attorney’s office has charged Osment with possession of cocaine and disorderly conduct. His arraignment is scheduled for June 7. ​
