There is a blood orgy.

A woman is seen in her underwear (sports bra + panties) a few times.

Pictures on the wall show two nude women. A man rips one of them off the wall and uses it to explain something.

The infamous hell sequence although very brief is EXTREMELY graphic and very gruesome. You see extremely brief but very graphic images of people covered in maggots, horribly mutilated bodies hanging, a giant spear graphically and disturbingly is in a dead body's mouth and other disturbing imagery. Although extremely brief, it's SUPER graphic and extremely gory and its very disturbing.

Strong violence and gore.

This movie involves several violent, bloody, gruesome moments. Some of them are hallucinations, especially near the end, when characters see brief visions in very fast succession. These shots are very graphic depictions of people being tortured, as well as a display of horribly mutilated corpses.

We see a severed hand flying through the air.

A frozen corpse is shown floating in the ship, when the artificial gravity is activated, it falls to the ground and shatters into bloody shards.

Parts of the bridge of the rediscovered ship after are covered in a dried mess of blood, guts and tissue.

A character sees a child lying on an examination table with his legs ripped open (brief, but graphic).

A man tries to commit suicide by throwing himself out of an airlock. His body turns veiny, and he starts bleeding from several opening, but he gets rescued. The man's injuries are serious and quite bloody.

In the film's most graphic scene, we see some crew members murdering, raping, mutilating and cannibalizing each other while screaming and howling in utter madness. This scene is very flashy and brief, so it's not too detailed, but it's still extremely gory and disturbing. It also briefly shows a man ripping out his own internal organs from his mouth, and ends with the captain uttering "Libera te... tutemet... ex inferis" while holding his own gouged-out eyeballs in his hands.

A woman falls to her death from a huge height, with very bloody results.

Fuck and shit primarily, amongst lesser profanities, and a obscene gesture.

Infrequent smoking.

The blood orgy scene may be the most disturbing part of the movie for some viewers. VERY graphic and bloody.

Near the end, characters start to experience very disturbing visions inside their mind. Most of these last less than one second each, but even without freeze-framing, it is clear that these quick shots depict gruesome scenes of people being brutally tortured in various ways (barbed wire is used), as well as mangled corpses in varying stages of mutilation with maggots all over. The accompanying screams and sounds make these scenes more unnerving.

This is overall an extremely violent, creepy and disturbing movie, that involves plenty of gruesome scenes, and strong themes such as hallucinations, suicide, possession, mayhem, insanity. There are some extremely bloody and disturbing sequences of torture, murder and suicide, as well as frequent references, both verbal and visual, to hell. There are a few scary moments as well.

A man's appearance is frightening, as his face is completely covered with red cuts.

A woman with her eyes removed appears suddenly throughout the course of the movie and the hallucinations with her in them are very frightening and uncomfortable to watch.
