Goofs

When Danny climbs aboard the boat they discover, his shoes and pants aren't wet, although he walked through the water to the boat. His shoes don't leave marks on the deck either.

When Paul pours blood on Danny and Terri, they are already stained with it before it touches them. In addition, after the blood "pours" on them, it leaves no new traces.

When Mateo is first attacked by the anaconda, his hair is down. In subsequent close-ups, his hair is pulled back.

When Serone uses dynamite to blow up a blockade across the river, a falling branch knocks the spare barrels of fuel overboard leaving them with only one for the remainder of their trip. However later the boat is seen from the back with all five barrels tied in their original position.

In the "firefly" scene, Terri's lingerie strap repeatedly shows/doesn't show between shots.

The barrels of fuel that go overboard would not sink, they would float.

When Serone drags the boar onto the boat rigor mortis has already set in. In reality it would take a lot longer for this to occur.

All throughout the movie, the snake makes a screaming sound. Snakes don't make sounds like that.

Sarone's rifle is a bolt action Winchester Model 70 Sporter, which requires manual cycling of the bolt to fire each successive round. In the film, the actors neglected to cycle the action, firing the gun as if it was a semi-automatic.

Anacondas have round pupils, not "evil looking" slitted ones.

After a snake goes under water with the axe embedded in its head, Danny drops the same axe on the dock. (Correction) Danny moves only somewhat as if he drops the axe, and you don't see or hear any axe drop.

Throughout the film there are constant references to the anacondas' babies. These babies (when in shot) are boa constrictors and not anacondas. (Correction) There are only maybe a couple boa constrictors in the movie. Most of the smaller snakes are baby anacondas. Also, there are not constant references to the baby anacondas in the movie. There's only a couple of scenes that have anything to do with babies. When the babies fall on the boat and when Terri sees a nest of babies.

Anacondas are found in South America, not Borneo (on the other side of the world). This is a goof for ''Anacondas: The Hunt For The Blood Orchid'' Not ''Anaconda.'' ''Anaconda'' takes place in the Amazon.

When the boat backs away from the tree, a shot of the waterfall shows it flowing upwards.

Near the middle of the film, when the monkeys are "warning" the documentary makers, you can see in close-up shots that several of the monkeys are tethered to the branches they are perched on with a fine cord.

After the first anaconda breaks through the glass to get Terri, Serone shoots the snake in the mouth with a tranquilizer dart. As the snake reacts to the dart, you can clearly see the wires under him that are controlling his actions.

When the anaconda gets shot by Terri, the victim the anaconda holds in its mouth clearly is a dummy.

When john voight starts to cut up the fish at the start of the film ,he cuts it up once then as another shot appears the fish is whole again.

There is no way Serone could have survived after being stabbed in the back with a dart and falling in the water, because he sank while in a dazed state. He should have drowned.

At about minute 35 in the movie they show the boat sailing straight but an island would block the boat from proceeding any further, as the boat was too large to pass the island on either side.

Cale said the only thing he was afraid of in the water was candiru akus. If anacondas were as dangerous as is depicted in the movie, Cale should have known this and should have been afraid to go in the water because of that. He also should have been afraid of animals such as caimans.

The 'fuel' constantly referred to is almost certainly marine diesel. Even with a naked flame applied to it, marine diesel, or DERV just doesn't burn like that. (Correction) This goof is a factual error. Not anachronism.

When Danny Rich hits the snake with a mattock, you hear a metal on metal sound. This goof is revealing mistake. Not audio/visual unsynchronised.

During the Firefly scene, the viewer can see these are just lights on strings, with the strings being visible.

Around 1 hour and 21 minutes, when Terri is escaping the snake from the smoke stack, it can be seen that she is wearing a body suit around her waist that is not present at any other time.

There are no wild boars in the Amazon.

There's no explanation as to why the fire flies stop flashing just before the anaconda comes out of the water that gets the jaguar.

It's stated in the movie that anacondas have heat pits. They don't.
